MR. JAMES THOMAS PETERSON
Homegoing celebration for Mr. James Thomas Peter- son, who departed this life on May 13, 2015, will be held Saturday, at 11 a. m., May 23, 2015 at Grace Mary Mission- ary Baptist Church, 3901 37th Street, Tampa, 33610, Elder Dr. Thomas Jefferson Reed, with Pastor Chad Ed- wards officiating.
James Thomas Peterson was born on October 31, 1952, to the proud parents, Charles Canty, Sr. and Yetta Mae Peterson of New York, New York.
James met and married the love of his life, Ethel, and to this union was blessed with Briana and Paul James.
He loved and cherished his family and was devoted to their wellbeing. His family brought him great pleasure and he in turn brought great pleasure to his family.
James’ passing leaves a void in his family’s heart that will never be filled, but the foot prints he made in their hearts will forever be felt. We love you, Sweetheart! Sweet rest, we will miss you and al- ways love you.
James loved being a Respi- ratory Therapist for over 40 years. During the 41 years, he worked in various facilities. He often spoke fondly of working with his patients and his co-workers. He al- ways strived to provide excel- lent care to his patients. He was a warm, loving, friendly and gentle soul. He touched many lives and his memories will be treasured.
On May 13, 2015, James answered the Lord’s call home.
James was preceded in death by his parents, the late Charles Canty and Yetta Mae Peterson.
He has left to cherish his memories: a lovely, devoted wife, Ethel; and two caring children, daughter, Briana and son, Paul, Sr. (Jessica); grandson Paul, Jr.; and two devoted brothers, Charles Canty and Jeffery Peterson.
He was also loved by: his brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The remains of Mr. James Thomas Peterson will repose from 5-8 p. m., Friday May 22, 2015, at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p. m.

MRS. MINNIE PEARL REEVES
Mrs. Minnie Pearl Reeves of Tampa, passed away Sun- day, May 17, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 23, 2015,at11a.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Joseph Reed, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Florida National Ceme- tery, Bushnell, FL.
Mrs. Reeves was a native of Archer, FL, and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. She was educated by the Pub- lic Schools of Alachua County.
Mrs. Reeves retired from Wyndham as a Housekeeper after 20 years of service.
Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Willie Penny and Mrs. Emma Walton Penny; son, Gerald Reeves; brothers, Cornelius Penny, Sylvester Penny and Paul Penny; and sister, Yvonne Penny.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, John “J. D.” Reeves, Sr.; chil- dren, Charles Johnson and Percy Johnson; stepchildren, Stephanie Reeves, Debra

Mr. David M. Goosby, Jr. born in Tampa, was a gradu- ate of Howard W. Blake High School, class of 1966.
He was married to Leon- tyne Royal Goosby. He served in the Vietnam War and was a Merchant Seaman for 30 years.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: daugh- ters, Kendra Higdon (Rod- ney), and Nicole Hampton (Maleeke); son, David M. Goosby, III; grandchildren, Bria Wright (Jayland), Rod- ney Higdon, Styx and Starr Goosby, Niphese Lawrence, Tione and Tianna Smith, Malaysia Hampton, Makayla Hampton, and Maleeke Hampton, Jr.; great grand- child, Jayden Moore; sisters, Veronica Robinson, Cheryl Wright, Aurora Goosby, Patri- cia Ford (Kenneth), and Sheila Harris (Floyd); broth- ers, Rev. MR. GERALD BEMBOW
Mr. Gerald Bembow of Tampa, passed away Thurs- day, May 7, 2015.
A celebration of life serv- ice will be conducted Satur- day, May 23, 2015, at 2 p. m. at First Baptist Church of Port Tampa, 8306 Interbay Blvd., Tampa, Bishop S. Austin, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Gerald was born on Feb- ruary 9, 1963, in Tampa. He attended the schools of Hills- borough County.
He was employed as a manager with both Taco Bell and Checkers for years. He was a faithful and hard- working employee.
He was a dedicated and loving father and grandfa- ther to his son and grand- children.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Henry and Frankie Bembow; brothers, Charles Neal, Richard Pierce and Rodney Bembow; and sister, Tanya Bembow.
He leaves cherished mem- ories in the hearts of: his only child and love of his life, Jamaar Bembow (Shayla); grandchildren, Jamya, Jayla, Jamaar, Jr., Jamaarie and Samaria; brothers, Mitchell (Mary), Kenneth Bembow, Reginald Bembow (Fern), and Anthony Bem- bow; sisters, Linda Bembow, Nancy Bembow, Rose Bem- bow (Leroy), Sheila Bembow and Joyce Yulee; devoted niece, Tamara; special friends, Tonya, Frederica and Mann; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
