DR. DRE AND NICOLE YOUNG
Family Of 14-Year-Old Fatally Shot By Los Angeles Police In Dressing Room Speaks Out
After months of proceed- ings, Dr. Dre has agreed to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $100 million as part of a divorce settlement that was reached between the two par- ties, TMZ reports.
The terms of the deal will re- portedly require Nicole to pay her own legal fees, which the publication points out could cost her millions.
The famed producer and rapper will pay his ex-wife $50 million now and the remain- ing $50 million next year. Also part of the settlement, Dre will get to keep seven proper- ties, including the Malibu home that Nicole is reported to be living at. Dre will also hold on to his Apple stocks, six vehicles, the rights to his mas- ter recordings, trademarks that he owns and the $9oo
Million he still have.
On the flip side, Nicole will
get four vehicles, her jewelry, as well as any cash and money she has in her bank accounts. The vehicles that Nicole will keep include a Rolls Royce, a Range Rover, an Escalade lim- ousine, and a Spyder motorcy- cle, Rolling Stone reports.
According to sources that spoke with TMZ, Nicole would have received more if she accepted a settlement deal that was presented to her last year. “She could have even been on the field for the Super Bowl halftime show as a friendly ex-wife,” the source said, referencing the upcom- ing show that Dre is set to perform at alongside Kendrick Lamar, Em- inem, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige.

"The pain of opening Christ- mas presents for her that were delivered for Christmas Day cannot be described," said Valentina's father, Juan Pablo Orellana Larenas, in Spanish at Tuesday's press con- ference. "Now, those gifts will be
brought to her grave because she's gone."
"It's like my heart was torn out," he said.
The LAPD published 911 calls, radio transmissions, body cam- era footage and surveillance video four days after the inci- dent. The department’s policy is to release video of incidents like police shootings within 45 days.
In a Dec. 27 statement, LAPD Chief Michel R. Moore said, “This chaotic incident resulting in the death of an innocent child is tragic and devastating for everyone involved. I am pro- foundly sorry for the loss of this young girl’s life and I know there are no words that can relieve the unimaginable pain for the fam- ily."
VALENTINA ORELLANA- PERALTA
The family of 14-year-old Valentina Orellana-Peralta, who was fatally shot by Los An- geles police at a clothing store on Dec. 23, is demanding an- swers from the department.

5 Dead In Denver 'Killing Spree' By Suspect With Extremist Views
Harry Reid, Former Senate Majority Leader, Dead At 82
A shooter allegedly went on a "killing spree" across the Denver area Monday night, killing five and wounding two others, across at least four locations, of- ficials said.
The suspect also died follow- ing an exchange of gunfire with police, officials said. Prior to the shooting, federal law enforce- ment was aware that the sus- pect, Lyndon Mcleod, harbored extremist views and had a history of psychiatric episodes, multiple law enforce- ment sources confirmed to ABC News.
“Our entire society is made up of s— little f— who insult badasses & get away with it be- cause law enforcement & social
weak better buckle up... s— is about to get real,” he said, ac- cording to the outlet.
Law enforcement is now scouring the suspect's writings, both physical and online, and trying to determine what led up to the shooting spree, sources said. Police said they had inves- tigated the suspect in 2020 and 2021 for previous incidents, but he was not arrested either time.
All of the victims were known to Mcleod through personal or business relationships, police said at a press conference Tues- day evening. Police confirmed on Tuesday that a fifth shooting victim had died, but did not specify which person died of those who were injured.
Harry Reid, a longtime Democratic U. S. senator from Nevada who rose to serve as Senate majority leader from 2007 to 2015, died Tuesday at age 82.
Reid, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018, served in Congress from 1983 until his retirement in 2017. He announced in 2019 his cancer was in remission.
He became most well-known for his use of the "nuclear op- tion" in 2013, leading the charge to end the filibuster on executive branch nominees and judicial nominees other than to the Supreme Court.
