Andrew Hawkins, 31, has no idea where he is sup- posed to line up.
In his six years as an NFL wide receiver, that’s never been a problem. But now, 20 minutes before his com- mencement ceremony at Co- lumbia University, he has no clue where his classmates have gathered.
In the chaos of finishing up his graduate degree while co- parenting three young chil- dren and searching for his next football team, he missed the email containing direc- tions for what to do on gradu- ation day.
Hawkins’ wife, Mark- isha, thought she’d heard someone say they were lining up in Lerner Hall, so Andrew rushes off in that direction.

Another yells, “Andrew
Hawkins is in the house!”Andrew Hawkins is goals beyond goals.
The free agent wide re- ceiver, who played six seasons with the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, walked the stage to receive a master's degree from Colum- bia University’s School of Pro- fessional Studies in sport's management.
As reported by the New York Daily News, every Mon- day this spring Hawkins would leave his wife and three young children and hop on a flight from Los Angeles to New York at 6 a.m. He would go to Columbia, load up on a week’s worth of classes and then turn around and get on the 11 p.m. flight back to L.A. for his week of training, par- enting and homework.
Kobe Bryant Surprises Brother Of Teen Killed By Police On His Birthday
Less than a month after the fatal police shooting of unarmed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards, Kobe Bryant is sending a special message to the late teen’s family.
On last Tuesday, the re- tired NBA All-Star surprised Jordan’s brother, Kevon ― who was in the car when Jor- dan was killed ― with a spe- cial phone call for his birthday and sent two pairs of his signature Nike sneakers, along with an autographed Los Angeles Lakers jersey that read: “To Kevon, Do epic things! God bless. Much love!”
Kevon’s brother, Jor- dan was killed on April 29, when police in Balch Springs, Texas, responded to reports of underage drinking at a local house party and several teens fled the area, according to reports. Jordan died of a single rifle wound to the head after former officer Roy Oliver opened fire on a car the high school freshman and three other teens were riding in.
The incident led Balch Springs Police Chief Jonathan Haber to fire Oliver, and the police chief admitted he initially “mis-

spoke” when he said the car was moving “aggressively” to- ward police when they fired at it multiple times. Dallas County prosecutors have since charged Oliver with murder in connection with the shooting.
Following Bryant’s ges- ture, Edwards family attor- ney S. Lee Merritt gave the NBA great a shoutout on Twitter by sharing photos of Kevon’s new birthday gifts.
Steph Curry Thinking Of Another Sports Career After Basketball?
Is Stephen Curry looking to dominate yet another sport? In an interview with David Feherty that aired on the Golf Channel this past Monday
night, Curry said.
"I’ve thought about it,"
when asked about joining the world of professional golf. Ac- cording to MSN, Curry's fa- vorite sport other than basketball is golf and he loves to play the NBA offseason.
He calls it "1B on [his] list of passions." Since he enjoys the game so much, it looks like it's not outside the realm of possi- bility that the two-time MVP will head to the PGA after re- tiring from the NBA.
Per Feherty, Curry even once said that he preferred a green jacket from the Masters Tournament over an NBA championship.
“I have the passion for the game, I think, to fight through whatever it would take,” the

29-year-old player said. “I don’t know if it’s in the cards after I’m done playing, but I will still be playing golf until (my NBA career) is over.” It's unsure when that will be since he's still in his prime at the moment.
Of course, Curry doesn't think he can just waltz his way onto the green. He definitely respects the craft noting, "I don't think I could, obviously, just jump out there ... it'd be a lot of work that would go into it."
