Line Dancers Heart- Rates-A-Thon
Line Dancers from far and near gathered at Rowlett Park recently for the Heart-Rates-A-Thon. Theresa Fallen sponsored the event to help inform the public about the importance of movement with dance for healthy living. (Pho- tos by Julia Jackson)

HOPE Building Dedication
Helping Our People Excel (HOPE) held the dedication of another facility on Tuesday, April 19, 2017. The HOPE building sits at the corner of Chelsea and 34th St., where a once nuisance bar stood and the site of deadly accidents. Mayor Bob Buckhorn and others from the city participated.
