Kelly Preston Dies Of Breast Cancer At 57

Kelly Preston has died. She was 57.
"On the morning of July 12, 2020, Kelly Preston, adored wife and mother, passed away fol- lowing a two-year battle with breast cancer," a family represen- tative tells reporters.
Preston is survived by her husband John Travolta and their children: daughter, Ella, 20, and 9-year-old son Ben- jamin. Son Jett died at age 16 in January 2009.

Over ‘Anti-Semitic’
Kanye West has dropped his 2020 presidential bid, ac- cording to a new report.
The 43-year-old rapper's campaign has reportedly been suspended less than two weeks after he shocked the nation with a tweet that confirmed his deci- sion to run for president of the United States in November.
According to a new report from Intelligencer, a "get-out- the-vote specialist" named Steve Kramer claims West is already "out" after the Yeezy founder hired both "paid and volunteer" staff to help him se- cure signatures in Florida and South Carolina to get him on the ballot.

Nick Cannon's "hateful speech" and anti-Semitic theo- ries led ViacomCBS to cut ties with the TV host and producer, the company said.
"ViacomCBS condemns big- otry of any kind and we categor- ically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism," the company said in a statement Tuesday. It is terminating its relationship with Cannon, ViacomCBS said.
The company's move was in response to remarks made by Cannon on a podcast in which he and Richard "Professor Griff" Griffin, the former Public Enemy member, dis- cussed racial bias. The podcast reportedly was filmed last year and aired two weeks ago.
In Cannon's hour-plus podcast, he and Griffith con- tend that Black people are the true Hebrews and that Jews have usurped their identity.
Cannon then segues into a discussion of skin color - "And I'm going to say this carefully," he begins - to allege that people who lack sufficient melanin are "a little less."

have a "deficiency" that histori- cally forced them to act out of fear and commit acts of violence to survive, he said.
"They had to be savages," Cannon said, adding that he was referring to "Jewish people, white people, Europeans," among others.
Cannon produced "Wild 'n Out," a comedy improv series for VH1, a ViacomCBS-owned cable channel. He's been a regu- lar part of TV shows uncon- nected to the company, including as the former host of NBC's "America's Got Talent" and host of Fox's "The Masked Singer."
