AIKENS
MRS. HARRIET JACKSON COLEY
A Private Memorial Celebra- tion for Mrs. Harriet Jackson Coley of Tampa, Florida, who fell asleep in Jehovah on Thurs- day, July 9, 2020, will be held Wednesday, July 15th, 11 a. m., Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Carolyn Riggins, officiating.
Harriet Coley was born on July 9, 1944 to Ralph Dexter and Aretha Peterson Wiggins. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Howard W. Blake. She worked until retire- ment for General Telephone Company. Harriet loved the word of God.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ralph Dexter and Aretha Peterson Wiggins and Richard and Edith Jackson; brothers, Gerald Peterson and Ronald Peterson; special aunt, Aurora Beatrice Holmes (Ben- jamin), Hannah Wedlaw, Flossie Sneed; uncles, Booker T. Peterson, Hannie Sneed and Al- fred Peterson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her loving son, Roderick Ashley; sisters, Loretta Watson, Car- olyn Riggins, Oveda Carswell, Cynthia Peterson; brother, Rod- ney Peterson (Sharon); sister- in-law, Nell Peterson; grandchildren, Vashon Ashley, Antonio Ashley and Kavanta Gardner; aunts, Margaret Long and Rosemary Peterson; uncle, Otis Williams; special cousins, JoAnn Pownsend (Fernando), Juwanna Mathis (Robert) and Jackie Quartermon (Brent); nephews, Albert Carswell, Jr. and James Faison, III; a host of other sorrowing relatives.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Wednesday for the service. We are following the CDC guide- lines.

MR. WALTER REESE HEARN
A Homegoing Graveside Cele- bration for Mr. Walter Reese Hearn of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020, will be held Saturday, July 18th, 10 a. m. at Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Rev. Timothy Lan- caster, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Heaven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Walter Reese Hearn was born September 3, 1931 to the union of Mr. Landy Hearn and Mrs. Mari- anna Hearn in Quitman, Missis- sippi.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, and son, Arthur Hearn. He departed this life July 9, 2020.
Walter attended grade school and graduated from Quitman High School in 1951. He was drafted into the United States Army right after high school, with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He re- tired from the Army in 1974.
After leaving the Army he resided in Louisville, Kentucky for a while where he got a job working for Reynolds Metals. Upon arriving to Tampa, Florida he worked work for the City of Tampa. The later years of his life he was self-employed.
Walter leaves to mourn his passing: a devoted wife, Shirline Hearn; 2 sisters, Willie M. Walton and Doris McCarty; 5 step-sons, Willie Thompson, Larry Thomp- son, Johnny Thornton, Rashawn Thompson and Demario Williams; 1 step-daughter, Niesha Thompson; 8 nieces, Earletta Hearn, Linda Hearn, Kayla Hearn, Lisa Hearn, Yvette Mc- Carty, Sharon Hearn, Rhonda McCarty and Maxine Hearn; 7 nephews, Foster C. Walton, Ro- drick McCarty, Keith McCarty, Larry Hearn, Robert Hearn, and Terrence Hearn; a host of step grands, great and great great- grand nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the graveside on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MRS. WILLIE LEE LUNDY
A Private Homegoing Service for Mrs. Willie Lee Lundy of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, will be held on Friday, July 17th, 12 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Min. Jackie Dennis, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
“Mother,” as she was affec- tionately called, was born in Washington, Texas on October 26, 1920. She resided in Tampa, Florida, for over 75 years. She was a member of the West Tampa Baptist Church, Church of God in Christ and 40th Street Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and the “Best Mother” to many in the Tampa Bay Area.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Nelson Winters, Sr., and Gertrude M. Yarborough; brothers, Nelson Winters, Jr., Palmon M. Winters, Jr. and An- drew Winters, Sr.; sisters, Vir- ginia Sanders, Corddic Winters and Elvalia Winters King; daugh- ter, Margaret Mixon; son, Ray Spiller and grandson, Courtney Yates.
She leaves to cherish her legacy, her children, Edward Spiller of Lamar, Texas, Alyce M. Crawford, Bandy Peoples, Jr., Ruby Standers, Larry Peoples, Curtis Lee Peoples, Judy Peoples- Collins, Twanda Yates and Donna Peoples-Davis; loving grandchil- dren, Vicky Dallas, Dino Water, James Spillers, Jocaby, Leonard and Michael Mixon, Teresa Craw- ford Pandales, Arthur Crawford, Jr., Timothy Peoples, Antolia Rose, Angela Jenkins, Rhonda, Charles, Juan, Kizzy and Alana Peoples, Donald, Donetta, and Sophia Collins, Clifford and Jovan Yates, Erica Brodnick, Christian Davis, Carl and Cevin Littles, Carvia and Dreama Harris, Alphonso Evans, Antolia Doris and K’en Goodman; 46 great grandchildren; 26 great great- grandchildren; 19 great great- great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Walker Peoples and wife, Lillie and family; sis- ters-in-law, Minnie Peoples and family, and Mary Lee Dennis and family; a host of nieces and nephews; her life-long best friend, Maybelle Hickmon and family, dear friends, Bettie Bell and family, Nonnie Stephens and family, Pugh, Eskridge, Brodnick, Raiford, Chester, Harris, Perry, Collins, Yates and Kilgore fami- lies and the families of Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, Texas, who all will dearly miss her.
The visitation will be held on Friday, July 17th one hour prior to the service from 11-12 p. m. We are following the CDC guidelines.

A Private Homegoing Cele- bration for Ms. Carel Lee Grant, formerly of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Alexandria, Virginia, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, 10 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. MLK, Jr., Blvd., Rev. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born in Crestview, Florida on April 24, 1949.
She was preceded in death by: her loving parents, the late Rev. Clarence Grant, Sr. and Sadie Lee Holmes-Grant; 3 sis- ters, Rosita, Linda Faye and Sun- dra Jean Grant-Godfrey; 2 brothers, Clarence Grant, Sr., and Kenneth T. Grant, Sr.; nephew, James Jones, Sr.; niece, Sadie Jo Grant, and other aunts, uncles and family members.
Carel Lee leaves to cherish her memories: children, Carmen Turner-Craven and George Craven; Michael Grant and Ed- ward Lue; grandson, Anthony Turner; sisters, Elaine Maxwell (Sonny), Yvonne Grant-Robin- son, Beverly Grant-Days, Cather- ine and Stephanie Grant; and a host of sorrowful cousins, nieces and nephews.

MR. FLOYD EDWARD HEADEN, SR.
A Private Homegoing Cele- bration for Mr. Floyd Edward Headen, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020, will be held on Sat- urday, July 18th, 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Mar- tin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Randy Ruth, officiating.
Sunrise began on December 30th, 1948 for Floyd Edward Headen Sr. He was born to fa- ther Kelly Palmer Headen and Mother Beatrice Sutton Headen. He was the 3rd out of 5 children: Betty, Gene, Floyd, Lillie and Mary Headen. Floyd was born and raised in Siler City, Chatham County, North Car- olina. Floyd met his future wife, Zelda Oliva Searles in 1980, in Raleigh, North Carolina. As life continued to merge for them both, they transitioned down to Central Florida, where they raised two children, Deonna Marie Headen and Floyd Ed- ward Headen, Jr., Floyd, Sr. supported his family as a laborer and small business owner.
In 2015, Floyd retired after 26 years of service at the Univer- sity of South Florida. Floyd Headen was a humble and sim- ple man. He enjoyed helping others, working with his hands and the Carolina Panthers!
He is survived by his wife, Zelda Headen; daughter, De- onna Headen and his son and daughter-in-law, Floyd, Jr. and Jeannette Headen. He has 8 grandchildren, Jaiden, Abri- anna, Taylor, Logan, Ashia, Cheyenne, Mayah and Kano Headen; Gene and Mary Headen are his surviving siblings, along with his great aunt, Mary Peo- ples.
He will be missed as a caring husband and father. He finished this life strong!! We love him and miss Floyd Headen, Sr.
