Community Help Needed To Solve Fatal Shooting
Tampa Police Investigating Early Morning Murder
Police found the unidentified man fatally injured at the in- tersection of N. Brooks and E. Yukon.
     Detectives are currently in- vestigating a fatal shooting that took place early Monday. The victim’s family is asking the community to help solve the crime.
Tampa Police officers were dispatched to the area of N. 23rd Street and E. Lake Avenue, in reference to shots being fired. When the officers arrived at 12:07 a.m., they discovered that a large party was going on. They also learned that two people had been shot.
One of the victims, 28-year- old Dwayne Saddler, was suf- fering from a gunshot wound. Police administered first aid, but were not successful. Sad- dler died at the scene.
Police also discovered a sec- ond gunshot victim near N. 22nd Street and E. 29th Avenue. That 34-year-old man was trans-

ported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condi- tion.
Detectives with the Tampa Police Department and Sad- dler’s family is asking anyone in the community who may have information about the shooting to come forward.
His family has released his identity and a recent photo- graph in hopes that someone with information will recognize him and come forward. Detec- tives do not believe the shooting was a random event. Although there was a large crowd present at the time, investigators have only been able to gather limited information.

Those providing informa- tion may be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the an arrest and con- viction. They are asking the community to come forward with information about the murder.
Detectives with the Tampa Police Department are cur- rently investigating a murder that took place early Wednes- day. It occurred in the area of E. Yukon and N. Brooks Street.
According to police, officers received the call of shots being fired shortly after 6 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they discovered that an adult man was bleeding as a re- sult of a gunshot wound. He
was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no additional in- formation available at press time and police said it is very early in the investigation. De- tectives are actively working to develop leads.
