USF Defensive Back K. J. Sails Eligible To Play 2019 Season
K. J. SAILS
One of the biggest ques- tions for USF football throughout fall camp was fi- nally answered on Wednesday as junior defensive back trans- fer K. J. Sails was granted immediate eligibility for the 2019 season and will suit up when the Bulls take the field versus Wisconsin on Friday.
Cleared To Resume
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers will play in the annual Roster Bubble Bowl this Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas.
The game starts at 7 p.m. With the starters usually tak- ing the night off, the final preseason contest of the year is normally a showcase for fringe players looking to have a breakout performance to secure their place on the final roster.
The Buc still have some positional battles to be deter- mined. And this is the final
Rehab After Car Crash
opportunity for those on the bubble to prove they belong, as the team will immediately start the cut-down process of trimming their bloated 90- man roster to just 53 players following the preseason fi- nale.
JASON PIERRE-PAUL
Tampa Bay Buccaneers star defensive end Jason
Pierre-Paul has received some great news as he looks to return from a car crash ear- lier this year.
Pierre-Paul sustained a fractured neck during a sin- gle-car crash in South Florida in May.
The belief at the time was that the injuries from the crash could keep him out for the season. The good news for Pierre-Paul is that he has been cleared to resume rehab activities.
