Shaq Fires Back At Kobe Bryant Over Latest Work Ethic Criticism
SHAQUILLE O’NEAL AND KOBE BRYANT
Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal seem to have smoothed things over a bit since their falling out with the Los Angeles Lakers, but that has not stopped them from pointing the finger at one an- other.
In an interview with Patrick Bet-David at the PHP Agency Convention in Las Vegas this week, Bryant said he believes he could have won a dozen championships if Shaq worked harder when the two were with the Lakers.
Kobe also paid Shaq a backhanded compliment by saying he would have been the greatest player of all time if he spent more time in the gym. When Bet-David said he did not want to start more drama between the two former team- mates, Kobe said he has told Shaq to his face many times.
“He’d be the greatest of all time. He’d be the first to tell you that,” Bryant said. “Me and Shaq sit down all the time and I say, ‘Dude if your lazy a– was in shape...”
Even if Kobe has said it to Shaq’s face, the big man does- n’t seem to appreciate it. When Shaq caught wind of Kobe’s latest criticism of his work ethic, he took to Instagram to say Bryant would have more championships if he “passed the ball more especially in the Finals against the Pistons.” He also reminded Kobe that the Lakers created a statue in his honor.

She was in trouble, if only briefly, against 17-year-old American Caty McNally, who is friends, and doubles partners, with Coco Gauff.

Jacoby Brissett,
Clowney Willing To Sit Out Regular-Season Games
 Calls Him Top-20 QB
Unsigned franchise player Jadeveon Clowney is will- ing to sit out regular-season games. Clowney has been linked to the Seahawks and Dolphins as potential trade partners but the hold-up is that they need to have a con- tract in place prior to the trade. Franchises want to make sure Clowney will play once traded so without a deal in place it won't happen.
Clowney Fires Agent
Jadaveon Clowney has fired agent Bus Cook.
Under the rules of the col- lective bargaining agreement, if Jadeveon Clowney plays
Jacoby Brissett went from Andrew Luck’s backup to starting quarter- back of the Indianapolis Colts very quickly, but he appears to have the full faith and backing of the organization.
Coach Frank Reich was full of praise for Brissett on Monday, calling Brissett a top-20 quarterback who can be a starter in the NFL.
While the Colts don’t want to put too much expec- tation on Brissett’s shoul- ders, he is the starter. They want everyone to know that

they trust him to hold down the fort after Luck’s abrupt retirement.

this season for the Houston Texans, it can only be on the franchise tag. The two sides had a July 15 deadline to get a long-term extension done.
Since that didn’t happen Clowney must play on the $15.97M, one-year, fully guar- anteed franchise tag.
