MR. ANTHONY ROSHAD HERSEY
Mr. Anthony Roshad Hersey, age 28, of Tampa, died on Thurs- day, October 13th, 2016, of T- CELL Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was born on October 14, 1987 to Angela Hersey (deceased) and Anthony Hill, Sr.
Anthony had a very loving spirit, he loved being around family and friends and loved keeping a smile on everyone’s face. His aunt called him “Smi- ley” and he definitely lived up to the nickname. He really enjoyed being near the water and would often go out to reflect on his life. He was diagnosed with his ill- ness in Sept. 2015, and never al- lowed his illness to keep him down. He always tried to com- plete his normal everyday rou- tines up until the end. He was a strong spirited young man and never let anyone get in the way of what he wanted to accomplish.
He was the oldest of his sib- lings from his father. He was not the oldest of his mom’s children, yet very protective of them all. He loved being surrounded by his family, spending time with his fiancé, wearing slides with crazy and comfortable socks, watching boxing, going on cruises, eating, and seeing oth- ers happy. He often said, “All I want is to see everyone happy!” He was loved by many and will be forgotten by none. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: his grand- mother, Mildred Wingate; his brothers, Anthony Hill, Jr., Antwan Hill, Antawan Hersey, Michael Bell, Arthur Bulter, JayAnthony Hill, Noah Hill, and Kamali Hill; his sisters, Janet Hill, Paris Hill, and Kiera Mc- Clain; and his fiancée, Kiera Adams; and many other family members and friends.
Anthony was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #5, Saint James.
His memorial service arrangements are being handled by Charlow Funeral Home in Plant City, Florida. The memo- rial service will be held on Satur- day, October 22, 2016, 2 p. m. at his home church, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 4008 E. Cayuga Street, Tampa, FL 33610.
