Howard W. Blake Class Meeting
Classmates of Howard W. Blake High School are having a meeting on Saturday, September 15, 2018, 10 a. m. – 12 noon. The meeting will be held at the Sugar Shack Rec Center,
2200 N. Oregon Ave.
  The Women’s Ministry of Beulah Baptist Institutional Church will hold its annual Women’s Conference Friday, evening and Saturday morn- ing, September 28-29, 2018, at the historic Baptist Church, located at 1006 W. Cypress Street, Tampa.
The two-part conference will kick off on Friday evening. Women in atten- dance will ‘dress to impress’ for a “Night of Eloquence” and will partake in dinner, entertainment and fellow- ship.
This year’s theme is
“Finding Joy Through The Pain.”
The featured speaker, for the evening will be Leslie J. Sherrod, author of seven faith-based novels that speak to the hopes and dreams of diverse women. Ms. Sher- rod, from Baltimore, Mary- land, tackles matters of current social significance, including mental health and wellness, healthy relation- ships, and spiritual growth – all with the unique backdrop of page-turning, satisfying suspense and heart-warming humor.
Saturday’s workshop will be led by Rev. Keshia Dixon, Pastor of Ministries and Development, Bible- Based Fellowship Church,

Ehrlich Road. Rev. Dixon is a preacher and teacher of the Word. Her focus is pro- viding sound, relevant Bibli- cal insight in today’s context for God’s people – His Church.
The public is invited to be a part of this phenomenal event featuring two dynamic women of God.
Part 1 of this two-part conference will convene Fri- day, September 28, from 6 – 9 P. M. It will resume with Part 2 on Saturday, Septem- ber 29, with a continental breakfast beginning at 9 A. M. followed by the main event with Rev. Keshia Dixon from 9:30 A. M .– 1:30 P. M.
