  Three Party Goers Hurt During Shooting
Police Search
  Three people who were at- tending a house party were injured by gunfire. The inci- dent took place in the 1700 block of E. Mulberry Avenue.
According to Tampa Po- lice, at approximately 11:48 p.m., Saturday, officers were dispatched to the location in reference to shots being fired. When the officers arrived, they learned that at some point during the party, two men were asked to leave the party.
An altercation developed and the two men began firing at the residence as they left. Three unidentified people were hit by the gunfire.

Police are currently inves- tigating a shooting that has left a man dead. The shooting took place late Tuesday.
Around 11 p.m., St. Peters- burg police responded to the parking lot of a vacant busi- ness at 4611 Haines Road. When they arrived, they dis- covered a man was suffering from a gunshot wound and had life-threatening injuries.
The man, later identified as 23-year-old Damien Wiggins, Jr., was trans- ported to a local hospital, where he later died.

The investigation into the murder is underway. How- ever, no arrests have been made, police said.

searching for a theft suspect.
The theft took place on Octo-

According to police, the man entered the Walmart at Lithia Pinecrest Road, in Brandon, around 10:30 a.m. Once inside, the man quickly selected a large, black plastic garbage can and placed it in his shopping cart.
He then walked over to the baby aisle and selected several cans of baby formula. He concealed the cans inside the garbage can and exited the store using an emergency exit without paying for the items.

  Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are currently searching for a man linked to a shooting. The in- cident took place around midnight Tuesday.
According to police, 34- year-old Marlon Tyrone Burgess and an unidentified 20-year-old man met and drove to another location in Winter Haven. The two men got out of the car and then Burgess is alleged to have shot the other man several times.
The victim was trans- ported to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Police said the two men have known each other for 3 to 4 months.
Burgess is believed to be driving a 2013 Dodge Chal- lenger, white in color with a red stripe down the middle of the top.
Grady Judd, Polk County Sheriff said, “Burgess is dangerous. Please help us get him off the street and send him back to prison where he belongs. Please do not attempt to con- front him. Call law enforce- ment.”

Police further stated that Burgess was released from Florida State Prison in April 2019 after serving 15 years for robbery with a weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Detectives believe a shoot- ing that left two people dead is a murder-suicide. The shoot- ing took place in Wimauma.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 15000 block of Carlton Lake Road, shortly after 7 p.m., Friday. When they arrived, they discovered a husband and wife dead inside their Wimauma home.
The investigation revealed that both Mrs. Cassandra Cagle, 41, and her 57-year- old husband, Lawrence Cagle, had both been fatally injured by gunfire.
A family member was in- side the home at the time of the shooting. Police believe the couple was having an ar- gument when Cagle fatally injured his wife and then killed himself.
The investigation is con- tinuing, police said.
