Victim Returns Gunfire In Drive-By Shooting
Police Investigating Suspicious Deaths
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Riverview home after two adults were located dead in- side the home. The investiga- tion began after deputies received a call at 4:45 a.m., Monday.
According to police, the in- vestigation is underway in the 4600 block of Pond Ridge Drive. The preliminary exam- ination of the crime scene in- dicated there was no need to search for a suspect.
No additional information was available at press time.
Woman Charged In Connection With Fatal Hit And Run

A 25-year-old Tampa woman was arrested and charged in connection with a deadly hit and run accident. The accident took place on I- 275 on May 2, 2016.
Ms. Endea I. Brown, of Tampa, was reportedly driv- ing a Ford Taurus when she struck 38-year-old Rusty Lee Harris, of Palmetto. Harris was walking in the outside lane at the Sun City Center exit.
After striking Harris, whose body landed 120 feet upon impact, Ms. Brown failed to stop. The accident occurred just before dawn, police said.
Harris was found later that day. He died as a result of his injuries.
Ms. Brown was arrested in the parking lot of Adven- ture Island, where she is em- ployed, last Tuesday. She was released after posting a $17,000 bond.
She was charged with leaving the scene of an acci- dent involving death and tampering with evidence.
Man Surrenders To Police, Arrested
A drive-by shooting in East Tampa Sunday night left one man injured. The shooting took place at the Shell Gas Station, corner of N. 34th Street and E. Hillsborough Avenue.
According to the Tampa Police Department, Tevin Brinson, 23, of Tampa, and Sidney Deloch, 44, of Ruskin, were in the parking lot of the Shell Station when unidentified suspects drove by in a dark colored SUV and fired several shots in their di- rection.
Brinson, who has a per- mit to carry a concealed weapon, returned fire as the suspects fled the scene. He re- mained at the scene until po- lice arrived. Deloch was struck in the shoulder by one

of the bullets. He drove him- self to the hospital for treat- ment. Police said he is expected to recover from his injuries.
Police attempted to inter- view both victims of the shoot- ing. However, both men decided not to participate in the investigation.
A 37-year-old man was ar- rested this weekend after he al- legedly pointed a weapon at his neighbor. The incident re- sulted in the SWAT team being called to the scene.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at 2912 Sample Loop, in Clair Mel. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office received a call that a man had threatened his neigh- bors and pointed a weapon at them, just before 4 p.m.
The neighbors told police the man appeared to be intox- icated and had gone back into the residence.

responded to the scene. After nearly 3 hours, a woman, 5 children, and the suspect came out of the house without inci- dence.
The man, identified as An- telmo Morales-Sanchez, was arrested. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Reward Offered In Theft Of 40 Guns From Business
Shooting Victim Misidentified In Article Recovering
Police are currently search- ing for the persons responsible for stealing 40 guns during a burglary. The offense took place early last Friday.
Shortly before 4 a.m., the suspects entered the Ace Hardware, 10415 Highway 39, South, by cutting the chain lock and smashing the glass window. Once inside, they cut another chain lock and en- tered the store. They then went to the rear of the busi- ness where the guns were stored.
The suspects fled the store with approximately 40 guns and at least one long rifle. The suspects then fled the scene.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest and con- viction of the suspects.
Additionally, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offer- ing a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. That reward will be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
During the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 22nd, a shooting took place at 8714 N. 48th Street. The shooting left a Tampa man in critical condition, and he re- mains hospitalized recover- ing from his injuries.
In the days following the shooting, police identified the victim as 42-year-old Ho- race Tyron Fowler. How- ever, the Sentinel has since learned that the injured man was visiting at the residence.
Fowler told the Sen- tinel that the victim was a family friend, they know as “Bo,” who stopped by the night before. “It was my brother’s home, not mine. He had been drinking and my brother told him he could spend the night. My brother then left and went to his girl- friend’s house,” Fowler stated.
When the Sentinel con- tacted the Tampa Police De- partment, detectives investigating the case identi- fied the victim as 23-year-old Nile Keith Jamal Owens, of Tampa. Owens, was transported to a local hospi- tal, where he was listed in critical condition. He remains hospitalized and is recovering from his injuries.

Last Friday, Tampa Police arrested Owens on three outstanding warrants. He is being held in connection with an unrelated offense on a $5,000 bond.
According to the Tampa Police Department, at ap- proximately 4:45 a.m., police received a 9-1-1 call in refer- ence to a person being shot. When officers arrived at the home, they discovered that Owens had suffered a gun- shot wound to the chest.
The unidentified suspect reportedly walked up to the house and fired several rounds into it. Police have not released a description of the suspect. However, they said it does not appear to be a ran- dom act. Detectives are con- tinuing their investigation.
