Tupac is officially a mem- ber of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as of Friday (April 7) after he was posthumously in- ducted during the ceremony held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
Snoop Dogg handled the honor and reflected on his friendship with the West Coast icon as he delivered his speech. From their first meeting to the day Tupac died, The Dogg- father expressed the impor- tance of remembering his humane side.
“While many remember him now as some kind of thugged out superhero, Tupac really was only good and he repre- sented through his music like no one before,” he said. “It’s the fact that he never shied away from it. After presenting two seasons of the original GUHH program, WE tv has announced the cast for the new Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.

couple say Martin worked for months with Iconic Jewels Beverly Hills to create the custom 5 carat emerald cut engagement ring. He added another carat for the band alone, which has Martin and Roberta's initials spelled out in diamonds. Roberta is a nurse practitioner.

Soulja Boy Gets Deal; Promises Not To Touch Guns Again
Beyonce’s visual album, Lemonade, has received tons of accolades to date, and there’s another prestigious submission to add to the list.
Lemonade’ is among the 60 finalists competing for this year’s 76th annual Peabody Awards, which selects the best in electronic storytelling across genre and platform.
The documentary will com- pete against other films like the Netflix hit ‘Stranger Things,’ the Oscar-winning documentary ‘O.J.: Made in America,’ and Netflix’s ’13th.’
The 60 finalists were se- lected from 1,200 entries in
film, TV, radio, and the inter- net. 30 programs will be se- lected as winners, with the announcements made by cate- gory: Individual/Institutional on April 12; Documentary on April 18; Entertainment on April 20; and News/Radio/Public Serv- ice/Web/Education program- ming on April 25.
The ceremony will take place in New York on May 20th, and will air on June 2nd on PBS and Fusion at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Rashida Jones, who won a Peabody Award for her work on Parks and Recre- ation, will host the awards.

The popular, convenient music-identifying app Shazam is getting a game show hosted by Jamie Foxx.
Premiering on May 25th, the game show “Beat Shazam” will air on the FOX network, a game where teams compete against each other to identify songs before the Shazam app does. The high prize? One mil- lion dollars.
Foxx is also an executive producer on the show.
Soulja Boy copped a deal in his weapons case where he promises not to touch any guns. And that includes toy guns.
The “Crank That” rapper pleaded no contest to charges of felony gun possession after initially pleading not guilty back in January. He was sen- tenced to five years probation and 240 days of community labor.
