Blake Griffin Ordered To Pay $3M A Year In Child Support
BLAKE GRIFFIN AND BRYNN CAMERON
Blake Griffin has been ordered to pay $3 million a year in child support to the mother of their two children, according to a report.
Griffin broke up with Brynn Cameron last year, leading to a paternity suit. The matter was settled with the NBA star being ordered to pay $258,000 per month in child support. That amounts to over $3 million per year.
For the purposes of the child support calculation, Griffin’s net worth was cal- culated to be $35M in March. Griffin is signed to a 5-year, $173M contract and sched- uled to make just under $32M next season.
Griffin and Cameron have joint legal and physical custody of the children. The two were ordered to mutually agree on school and addi- tional school expenses, with Griffin paying the kids’ ex- tracurricular activities. Grif- fin claimed in the suit that he is paying for a home in which Cameron and the two chil- dren live in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Cameron, who also has a child with former NFL QB Matt Leinart, has also filed a civil “palimony” suit against Griffin for allegedly breach- ing an oral contract with him.

Donald Trump’s tweet calling LeBron James and Don Lemon dumb and dumber did not go over well in the sports and political world, eliciting strong reac- tions on social media.
While NBA athletes, en- tertainers and politicians alike fired off a flurry of re- sponses directed at the presi- dent, James’ first tweet following Trump’s diss made no mention of the for- mer reality TV star turned politician. Instead, the new face of the L.A. Lakers retweeted a photo of kids at the I Promise School along with the comment, “Let’s get it kids!! Love you guys.”
James recently opened a public elementary school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio for at-risk kids. He sat down with CNN’s Don Lemon last Monday to discuss the goals of the program. But when Trump finally caught up with the conversation days later, he engaged in a late- night Twitter rant.
“Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made LeBron look smart, which isn’t easy to do,” Trump tweeted on Fri- day while watching the re- broadcast of the interview. “I like Mike!” he added, a refer- ence to NBA icon Michael Jordan.
LEBRON JAMES
Lemon responded Satur- day morning by calling out the Trump’s controversial immigration policies.
“Who’s the real dummy? A man who puts kids in class- rooms or one who puts kids in cages?,” he wrote on Twitter.
CNN noted that Trump’s pattern of attacking well- known African-Americans as having “low IQs” echoes the white nationalist view that Blacks are genetically less in- telligent than white folks.
Meanwhile, Jordan and first lady Melania Trump have also weighed in on the public conversation, and she’s not here for her husband’s pettiness. Mrs. Trump praised James for his charity work less than a day after Trump attacked him on Twitter.
Jordan is also #TeamLe- Bron, as he released the fol- lowing statement through a spokeswoman on Saturday: ”I support LeBron James. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.”

Dak Prescott In 'The Sunken Place'
  For Anti Protest Comments
You’ve probably seen the image, striking and unforget- table: A black man, staring ahead in silent terror, with tears streaming down his face.
First it was Daniel Kalu- uya, who immortalized the image in Jordan Peele’s Acad- emy Award-winning horror satire Get Out.
Then it was Kanye West, who became the subject of sev- eral memes related to the movie — and fought back against them.
Now it’s Prescott, in a mural that appeared this week in the Fabrication Yardin Trinity Groves, courtesy of artist Trey Wilder.
Wilder, 29, painted the image last week after he heard that Prescott had been named the “Donkey of the Week” on the nationally syndi- cated radio program, The Breakfast Club.
Perhaps it’s unfair that Black athletes are expected to

be progressive — or, at the very least, supportive of social jus- tice issues — while their white teammates can stay mostly silent without anyone batting an eye. But while the pressure to speak up about injustice should definitely be applied to white athletes too, there’s re- ally no excuse for Black ath- letes to be company men when said company cares more about appeasing the racist president than making the country safer for them.
