MR. KEVIN EUGENE HART
A Home Going Service for Mr. Kevin Eugene Hart will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. W. Richardson, Pastor of Mace- donia M. B. Church, Thonoto- sassa, Florida, Officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Kevin Eugene Hart, age 45, died on January 8, 2021, in Thonotosassa, Florida.
Mr. Kevin Eugene Hart was born on July 6, 1975, in Tampa, Florida to mother, Julia Hart. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Mr. Hart was a Landscaper for a Lawn Care Company.
He was preceded in death by: his great grandfather, Willie Butts; great grandmother, Ber- nice Butts; grandfather, Lemoyne Hart, Sr.; grandmother, Alice Hart-Perry; great uncle, Alert Lee Hart; aunt, Willie Mae Windham; uncles, Albert C. Brown, Jr., Willie J. Hart, Sr., and Charles Bing, Sr.; cousins, Sabrina Hicks, Charles Bing, Jr., and Gregory Windham.

MS. ALICE THOMPSON
On Thursday morning, Janu- ary 7, 2021, an angel came to re- trieve one of God’s precious children. Ms. Alice Thompson was picked up and carried to the man- sion in the sky. Although she is gone, her memory will forever live on in our hearts and minds.
A private Homegoing Celebra- tion will be held for Ms. Alice Thompson on January 16, 2021.
Alice Thompson was born to the late Edward and Elizabeth Thomas in Tampa, Florida, on March 12, 1938. Alice Thompson was the second oldest out of a total of five children born to the Thomas.’ She attended Hillsbor- ough County Schools and gradu- ated from Don Thompson High School, where she met Roosevelt Thompson. Alice and Roosevelt Thompson married Septempber 21, 1954 and from this union five children were born.
She also acquired her cosme- tology license and performed her clinicals at FAMU, then went on to work for Twilight Beauty Shop for many years. She later became a Certified Nurse’s Aide and worked in that field until she retired in 1995 after the death of her hus- band, Roosevelt Thompson.
Ms. Thompson was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Tampa, Florida, where she sang in the # 1 Choir and Mass Choir for over 30 years.
Ms. Thompson is preceded in death by: her husband, Roosevelt Thompson; sons, Roosevelt Thompson, Jr., William Thomp- son (Pokey); brother, Lawrence Thomas; and two nephews, Wayne Reaves, Jr., and Reginald Reaves.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: daugther, Wanda Thomp- son; son Ronald Thompson (Andre) and son, Gregory Thomp- son and wife, Jeanette Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, grand- children: VeroniQue Swain, Dont’e Williams, Tiffany Hobbs, Christopher Hobbs, Tekeya Thompson, Charmaine Thomp- son, Ahmad Thompson, Ahmeen Thompson, Sharina Thompson- Neal, Patricia Johnson, Brittany Thompson, Gregory Thompson, Jr.; great grands and a great- great grandson; sisters, Jerlean Reaves (Wayne), Ethel Thomas and Shirley Miller (Robert), cousins and friends.

ELDER CLARENCE SYLVESTER DURHAM
Elder Clarence Sylvester Durham passed away on January 2, 2021.
Clarence was the eldest son of John and Edith Durham, born in Tampa, Florida on September 16, 1933. He attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School, Meacham Elementary School, Booker T. Washington Junior High School, and graduated from Middleton Senior High School in 1952. It was during his time at Middleton that he was given the nickname, “Nasty,” a monika that his home boys called him throughout his life.
Clarence spent several years serving his country in the Army, before returning to his home state to attend Florida Agricul- tural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He went on to earn a Master’s de- gree in Social Work from New York University (NYU).
Clarence entered into the heavenly gates of our Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021. He joins in heaven his parents, John and Edith Durham; grand- mother, Lila Johnson; wife, Ruth Durham; brother, Marcellas Durham, Sr., grandson, Kwasi Pecon; nephew, Roderick Durham; and brother-in-law, James Anderson.
Left to cherish his memory are: his children, Stanley Durham, Anika (Clarence); grandchildren, Ryan, Tiffiany, Eleana and their mother, Renee Aschenbrenner; grandson, Dar- ius; siblings, Bettye Anderson, Maxine Davis (Howard). And Edith Larry (Herbert); sister-in- law, Jean McLeod; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and loving church family at Love Oasis Christian Center, where he was a founding member.

MR. NATHANIEL BROWN
Mr. Nathaniel Brown was born August 8, 1954, in Marianna, FL to Mr. Pedro Peace, Sr., and Mrs. Mattie Mae Styles. He lived in Tampa, FL until the Lord called him home. He received Christ at an early age. He graduated from Blake High School, in Tampa.
He was employed with HART- line as a bus driver for 20 plus years, then he drove tractor trail- ers until he retired.
He embraced the calling into the ministry. On January 5, 2021, Mr. Nathaniel Brown answered the Lord’s call to come home and rest.
He was preceded in death by: beloved mother, Mrs. Mattie Mae Styles Peace; grandmothers, grand- fathers, and a host of aunts and un- cles.
He is survived by: father, Pedro Peace, Sr., (Martha), 4 children, Angelo Brown (Brandy), LaToya Brown, Nathan Brown, and Isha Brown; 6 grandchildren, Anquilla Brown, Azzyria Brown, Azalea Brown, Jaden Lee, Nyla Brown, and Milani Brown; 3 great grand- children, Aaliyah Brown, Za’arya Brown, and Arizala Brown; 13 sib- lings, Gloria Jean Peace, Gloris Ann Peace, Larry Peace (Patricia), Pedro Peace, Jr., (Gloria), LaTonya Correa (Andre), James Bowers, De- loris Bowers, Sharon Bostick, Michelle Garrett, Joanne Bowers, Daryl Bowers, Jerome Bowers, and Julie Bowers; aunt. Teresa Young; uncle, Lewis Peace, and a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with friends.
Service will start a 2 p.m., and THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING. The Celebration of Life will be held at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 Ne. Nebraska Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33605. We will be following COVID Guidelines —- masks are required. There will be NO REPAST.
