 HARMON
MR. JOSEPH CHRISTOPHER WOODS
Mr. Joseph Christopher Woods was born April 29, 1982 in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Sylvester Woods and Dessie Mae Covington Woods. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was an avid reader of the Holy Word.
Homegoing Services will be at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, on Wednesday, July 25, 2019, at 10 a. m., and will be officiated by Rev. Otis Cooper, pastor of New Rising Star Ministries.
Joseph attended Tupelo Pub- lic Schools and graduated from Tupelo High School in 2001. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 2001 and served four years, earning the rank of Petty Officer Third Class (OS3). He re- ceived many medals and cam- paign ribbons and will be honored at graveside by the mil- itary in Sarasota National Ceme- tery, his resting place.
In 2010 Joseph returned to Jacksonville, Florida and en- tered Everest University Phar- macy Technician Program and completed his studies in 2010.
Joseph’s quiet strength was exemplified in 2010 when he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
Joseph Christopher Woods passed away on July 11, 2019.
He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Everett and Ollie Woods; his ma- ternal grandparents, Ardell and Minerva Covington; a special grand-uncle and grand-aunt, Joe and Odessa Carr.
In addition to his loving par- ents, Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: grand-aunts, Lula B. Harris, Margaret (James) Brim, Georgia (Sylvester) Tay- lor, and Tenna King; aunts, Brenda B. Woods, Margarett (Booker T.) Mays, Oatley Hen- derson; grand-uncles, James Robert Flemings, Nathaniel (Geraldine) Little; uncles, Larry (Roslyn) Woods and Brady Woods; Thomas Woods and Mil- ton (Peggy) Woods; a very spe- cial friend, cousin and caregiver, Darin (Ebony) Owens; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held this Tuesday evening 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home.
Early seating for the Home- going Service begins at 9:30 a. m. on Wednesday.

MR. DONALD LYNN OWENS
Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Donald Lynn Owens, who passed on July 10, 2019, was held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 2 p. m. at City of Restoration, 2802 Highway 60, Valrico, Florida, Dr. ONeil Salmon, Pas- tor, with Bishop Robert Regester, officiating, and Pas- tor Rodney Williams, eulogist.
Mr. Donald Lynn Owens was born on April 6, 1958, to the parentage of Tyrone Owens, Sr. and Vialethia Griffin Owens in Orlando, Florida.
Donald was known for a lot of things including, cooking, singing, preaching and his out- going personality. He accepted the Lord at a very young age. He was a faithful member of Kingdom Living Church of God in Christ, where he served as a Deacon, Evangelist, Pastor and Chaplain faithfully until his de- mise. He was also the Pastor of the People of Hope Ministry. Mr. Owens was a caregiver for Ms. Josephine Lundy for a cou- ple of months.
Mr. Donald Lynn Owens was preceded in death by: his parents, Tyrone Owens (Vialethia Griffin) Owens, Sr., and brother, Dennis Tyler Owens, Sr.
He leaves to mourn his pass- ing: a devoted daughter, Tyrechia Griffin (Kelcey), Tampa, FL; 2 sons, Donald Owens, Sr. (Latundria), Crystal River, FL and Kenric Collins (Deericka); 9 grandchildren, Jacquez Owens, Bryce Blan- ford, Talonna Ball, Aniija Grif- fin, Onjelia Owens, Donald Owens, Jr., Kendra, Keyona and Marquez Collins; 6 broth- ers, Tyrone Owens, Jr., Or- lando, FL, Ronald Owens, Sr. (Gwendolyn), Plant City, FL, David Owens (Maria), Cler- mont, FL, Larry Owens, Sr. Apopka, FL, Michael Owens (Jeanette), Orlando, FL and Kenneth Owens, Crestview, FL; 1 sister, Ivy Griffin (Roland), Orlando, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other rel- atives and friends.
