Eddie Murphy Planning Stand Up Comeback, Netflix To Pay $70m For Right
Danai Gurira Announces
Eddie Murphy is itching to get back on stage and do his stand up comedy thing. We guess he wants to get raw again. Look for him and Net- flix to hook up to make it hap- pen.
And what would it take to make it happen, you might be wondering? Well, sources close to Murphy tell TMZ that Netflix is offering a $70
million incentive to Murphy to make it happen.
On the other hand, we hear TMZ has been “unable to firmly confirm the exact fig- ure” at this point. But when you think about it, that figure is not out of line with what headliners on Murphy’s level have commanded from Netflix in the past. And be- sides, he is Eddie Murphy.

SAN DIEGO — Season 10 will be the last for Danai Gurira on “The Walking Dead.”
“I can confirm this is the last season I will be on this amazing show,” she an- nounced at San Diego Comic- Con on Friday.
The 41-year-old actress teared up as she told the room that playing the role of Mi- chonne on the AMC show was one of the “purest joys of my life.”
“I am very, very thankful for the experience that I’ve had in ways that I cannot even express right now,” she said, adding that it was a very diffi- cult decision to leave. “It was about my calling in a sense and other things I feel called to.”
She added, “I’m filled with a lot of pain about leaving and a lot of gratitude and thanks to all of you. I love you guys and

“‘TWD’ family is forever,”
she said, tearing up as the au- dience gave her a standing ovation.
“We will miss the hell out of her,” showrunner Angela Kang said.
The screws are being tight- ened on embattled singer Robert “R.” Kelly.
A federal judge has or- dered that Kelly, currently being held without bail in iso- lation in a federal prison in Chicago, be transported to New York next month for ar- raignment on federal racket- eering charges there that he recruited girls for sexual abuse, the Chicago Tribune reports.
As perhaps could be ex- pected, conditions at the Met- ropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago’s Loop are a far cry from the superstar lifestyle Kelly once led.

News of Kelly’s pending
transport by U. S. Marshals Service to New York comes days after another judge or- dered Kelly held without bond on federal charges he faces in Chicago of sex crimes involving children. Prosecu- tors argued that Kelly posed an “extreme danger” to the community.
“We’re talking seventh- and eighth-grade girls,” Assis- tant U. S. Attorney Angel Krull said at that hearing Tuesday, according to the Tribune. “And it didn’t hap- pen once or twice. He sexually abused them hundreds of times before they turned 18.”

Actor Idris Elba Debuts A New Clothing Line Inspired By His DJ Set
Idris Elba has been pretty busy lately! After marrying the love of his life, Sabrina Dhowre and releasing brand new music, the actor just ex- panded his growing business portfolio. Introducing his new clothing line named “2-HR SET.”
The unisex line launched in the UK last year has been sell- ing out, and has now been re- leased worldwide.
“A two-hour set is the acid test for a DJ. But for me, I’ve taken this idea a step further. Whether I’m behind the decks on stage, in the gym, or study- ing a new script, I’ll give my- self two hours and really get stuff done. It’s my window to

Jennifer Hudson and ex-fiancé David Otunga‘s custody battle has come to an end.
The former couple, who were together for a decade, share one son, 9-year-old David Jr. Details of their final agreement will be kept private at the request of the parents.
In November 2017, the 37- year-old “Cats” actress filed for a restraining order against the former professional wrestler after their relationship ended because she claimed he had
exhibited “aggressive, threat- ening and harassing behavior” toward her.
“Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga have been in the process of ending their re- lationship for a number of months,” Hudson’s rep told Page Six at the time. “Yester- day, Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jen- nifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son. Please respect her privacy at this time.”
