Tow Truck Driver Killed
Body Found In
Man Shot During Home Invasion
In Hit-And-Run Crash

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that a man was shot early Monday during a home invasion at a cul-de-sac townhouse in Town ‘N Country.
Detectives said unknown intruders broke into the home
at 8557 J. R. Manor Drive at 4:45 a.m. Four adult residents were at the scene. The man who was shot was transported to a local hospital.
No information has been released on the victim or the suspects at this time.
Early Monday, a tow truck driver was killed in a hit-and-run incident on the Howard Franklin Bridge.
Authorities said the driver was on the bridge loading a disabled vehicle onto his truck that had been involved in an accident when he was struck by a black Volkswa- gen. The Volkswagen left the scene, but authorities re- ported finding it later near the International Mall.
The 43-year-old tow truck driver reportedly worked for a local towing company and has not been identified.
Authorities are looking for the owner of the vehicle who was identified as 36- year-old Allison Faye Huffman.

On January 26th at 3:30 p. m., Tampa Police reported that a man was operating a forklift at 5207 North 30th Street when he was ap- proached by two suspects. One of the suspects report- edly displayed a handgun and when the victim ran, he was shot in the back.
Authorities believe the suspects are a man and woman. The man has been described as having an under-bite and very thin beard.

Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s deputies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found Satur- day in an apartment complex parking lot.
According to reports, the Sheriff’s Office received several calls about a fight at The Park at Aberdeen, a complex off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. Deputies found the body of a 31-year-old man with upper body trauma. He has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.
Deputies interviewed possi- ble suspects hey believe knew the victim. They also said this does not appear to be a random act.

On Friday, a Plant City man accused of first-degree murder in the shooting death of an acquaintance in St. Pe- tersburg was found guilty.
Devin Pierre-Antione Dixon, 31, reportedly shot Clinton Bailey, 24, five times on September 8, 2014 outside a residence at 2533 Queensborogh Avenue, South, police said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department is cur- rently searching for two men. The men are wanted for ques- tioning in relation to a murder that occurred early Saturday.
According to a spokesper- son for the Sheriff’s Office, the men are not being called sus- pects or persons of interest.
The victim who has not been identified, was discovered at 2910 Sycamore Court, about 5:15 a.m., Saturday. Detectives described him as an adult male.
During the investigation, police learned that the suspects were known to the victim.
Police are currently looking for 24-year-old Efrain Rivera Rosado and 20-year-old Jef- fra Jetziel De Jesus Cirino for questioning.
“At this time, detectives would like to speak to Rosado and Cirino to obtain more in- formation about what oc- curred,” police said.

deputies were investigating that robbery, again they re- ported hearing gunfire in the complex and learned of a third armed robbery that had taken place where the victim was getting out of his vehicle when he was approached by two men who struck him sev- eral times in the face and fired shots in his direction.
Deputies set up a perime- ter and spotted the suspects fleeing on a bicycle and were able to pursue them on foot and arrest them.
The suspects were identi- fied as Nicholas Gillham, 18, and a 15-year-old.
Gillham was charged with three counts of armed robbery with a firearm, three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, shoot- ing into an occupied dwelling, two counts of carrying a con- cealed firearm, and aggra- vated assault with a weapon.
The 15-year-old was charged with three counts of armed robbery with a firearm three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon shooting into an occupied dwelling, and petit theft.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies have ar- rested two suspects in three armed robberies Sunday.
According to deputies, just past midnight, they re- sponded to an apartment complex on Fox Croft Hunt Road in reference to an armed robbery.
Deputies arrived at the scene and spoke to the victim who reportedly told them she was robbed at gunpoint by two males as she was getting out of her car and walking to- wards her apartment.
Authorities reported that the victim was pistol- whipped in the face several times, and suffered injuries and fractures to her eye sock- ets. During the robbery, deputies said one of the sus- pects fired a weapon, and a bullet hit a nearby vehicle.
The victim was treated and released at a local hospital.
While at the location of the alleged robbery, deputies re- ported hearing several shots being fired within the com- plex and discovered another person had been robbed. That victim told them he was get- ting out of his vehicle and walking towards his friend’s apartment when two men ap- proached and ordered him to the ground at gunpoint. The man was kicked and punched before he was robbed.
Deputies said the suspects then went to the apartment and started yelling through the door for the resident to open the door, or they were going to kill his friend.
The resident didn’t open
the door and the suspects fired several shots through the closed door, grazing the victim. Both suspects then fled.
A traffic crash that oc- curred Friday at 1:50 a. m. at 8701 Barcin Circle in Riverview resulted in the ar- rest of 37-year-old Yordys Rivero.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies reported that Rivero was traveling south on 78th Street at 80 mph when he failed to stop at a stop sign at 78th Street and Riverview Drive. He hit a shed and traveled into a car- port where he struck three vehicles and came to rest on top of the three vehicles. The

total amount of damage was estimated to be $100,000.
DUI deputies responded to the scene and arrested Rivero for DUI.
