MR. IAN JAHMAL AKINS
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Ian Jahmal Akins of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on De- cember 9, 2021, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Decem- ber 18th, at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. Pastor Ernest Chestine officiat- ing.
Ian was born August 3, 1985, in Clearwater, Florida, to Leona Hall and Gary (Charlie) Akins.
He loved spending time with his son, King, and he also loved to cook seafood and soul food.
Ian was preceded in death by Henrietta West (maternal grandmother), Joseph Hall (ma- ternal grandfather), Dorothy Akins (paternal grandmother) and Jim Akins (paternal grand- father); aunts, Henrietta Myrick, Pansy Chestine, Minnie Howard; uncles, Joseph Williams, Fred Williams, Jim Akins, Edward Akins.
He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, King Ian Jamal Akins and Bryson Beecham; his parents; brothers, Emmanuel McCray, Joell McCray (Ashley), E’Saivion Wade, Jamarion Castleberry; sisters, Latisha Akins, Noell McCray, Asha Castleberry, Odette Nuccio Gales; aunt, Cecil Barnhart; un- cles, Jerome Akins, Donny Akins; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Wyshema Pointte and Cori Fant.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Martin Luther King Blvd. Tampa, Florida, 33610, Friday, December 17th from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at Rest Haven Cemetery for the service on Sat- urday. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MRS. CONSTANCE MORA BOWEN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Constance Mora Bowen, who passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, will be held on Wednes- day, December 15th, 2:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pastor Calvin Green, officiating. The interment will follow in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Constance was born on Sep- tember 21, 1944, in Hibernia Dis- trict Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies, to Rufus and Ruth Robert- son. She migrated to New York where she lived, worked, and re- tired before moving to Temple Terrace, Florida.
Her favorite activity was bowl- ing. She was a member of Bar- bara A. Atkins Chapter #135 Order of the Eastern Star, Bethle- hem Grand Chapter; Bowling Divas; Jazzy Seniors; Bid Whist Club of Mt. Vernon, NY, and many more.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ruth Robertson; fa- ther, Rufus Robertson; brothers, Herman Robertson, Clifton Robertson, Levy Robertson, and Glassford Robertson; sister, Mil- dred Robertson-Ricks; father-in- law, Alonzo Bowen.
She leaves precious memories with: her husband, Armand Bowen; daughters, Heather Pamella Rose, Judith Patricia Rose, and Zenobia Bowen; grand- children, Jacqueline Rose, Mau- rice Williams, Trey Williams, Kenyaa Rose, and Jumar Rose; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Auston Robertson (Carol), Doran Robertson (Pat), Lester Robert- son (Jean); sisters, Dell Henry, Gwendolyn Cummings, Betty Waltin (Ronnie), and Monica Robertson; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; friends, Al- matine Williams, and Wanda Miles; stepdaughter, Sheri Bowen.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Tues- day, December 14th, from 4:00 to 7:00.

Baker, officiating. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lillian was born on December 18, 1940, in Eufaula, Alabama, to Alter Lee and Lillie Mae Harge.
She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Church of the Living God Gate- way to Heaven Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Bill Dennard, Jr.; nephews, Jerome Morris, and O.B. Harge; brother-in-law, Quincy Davis.

SERGEANT LORENZO NEWSON
A Homegoing Celebration for Sergeant Lorenzo Newson, who passed away on Monday, Novem- ber 29, 2021, will be held on Sat- urday, December 18th, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Dr. James Gallon, Pastor of Christian Praise & Worship, offi- ciating with eulogist, Rev. Michael Neely, pastor of New Millennium Community Church. Interment will be in Florida National Ceme- tery.
Lorenzo was born in Florida and a resident of Tampa for over 40 years. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, then went on to serve in the United States Army and re- tired as honorably discharged. He was employed with Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (H.A.R.T.) for 15 years. He was a faithful ser- vant of God and he loved helping others.
Lorenzo also enjoyed bowling, cooking, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Creola Newson and Warren Newson; beloved sister, Constance Newson; beloved niece, Petra Newson; and beloved stepfather, John Blue.
He leaves to cherish his life and precious memories: as a de- voted father of Lauryn Newson. Sgt.
