MRS. YVONNE E. LAWRENCE SIMMONS
Mrs. Yvonne E. Lawrence Simmons was born August 15, 1953, to the parents of John H. Lawrence, Sr., and Clara A. Don- aldson- Lawrence. She passed away December 10, 2021.
Mrs. Simmons was a 1971 graduate of C. Leon King High School and the National Beauty Cosmetology School.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Horace Lee Simmons, Sr.; father, John H. Lawrence, Sr.; mother, Clara A. Lawrence; son, Elijiah Simmon;, brother, John Lawrence, Jr;, sis- ter, Sarah Allen, sister, Bettye Hickmon; brother, Oscar Lawrence, Sr.; nephew, Oscar Lawrence, Jr., and nephew, Cur- tis Blue.
She leaves loving memories with: her son, Horace Lee Sim- mons, Jr., and wife, Karla Sim- mons; grandchildren, Sarai Simmons, Horace Simmons, III, and Hezekiah Simmons, sib- lings, Alvin Lawrence, Sr., Cyn- thia Lawrence, Gwendolyn Lawrence Butts (MO), and Bernard Lawrence Faison (CA); mother-in-law, Pearl Simmons, special niece/goddaughter, Dena L. A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Felicity Jean Smith of Riverview, Florida, who passed away on December 9, 2021, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17th, at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Martin Luther King Blvd. Tampa, Florida 33610, Rev. Christopher White officiating.
Felicity was born September 3, 1967, in Americus, Georgia, to Henry and Mary Jean Smith. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandkids and traveling with her sister/best friend.
Felicity was preceded in death by: her father; and Timauni Blakely.

MR. RUDOLPH TOLBERT
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Rudolph “Moody” Tolbert of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on December 4, 2021, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Decem- ber 18th, at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Tampa, Florida, 33610, Rev. Antonio Pringley and Rev. Michael B. Price, officiating. The interment will follow.
Rudolph was born October 13, 1930, in Brooksville, Florida, to William Ozell Tolbert and Pernetta Love-Tolbert. He was employed by several local businesses which in- cluded The City of Tampa Sanita- tion Department, Frog Food Company, and Georgia Marble Company. After being employed at Garnier/Cargill/Mosaic, for over 35 years, Mr. Tolbert turned in the keys to his heavy machine equip- ment to be a Cadillac Chauffeur for his grandkids ensuring that they arrived safely to school, dance class, and gymnastics. He was the family driver and driving instruc- tor.
After rounding up cousins, nieces, and nephews and their par- ents, it was not unusual for a Sat- urday morning grocery store run to be a weekend trip to Miami, Dis- ney World, Sea World, Georgia, a fishing trip, or a cookout at the beach.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife of 66 years, Lillian W. Tolbert; son, Stanley M. Tolbert; siblings, Audrey Black, Gwendolyn Simms-Seymour,
Ozell, Perry (Dump), Elroy, and Michael Tolbert, Denise Brown, and Carol Tolbert; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marvin Jackson, Charlene Tolbert, Doris Tolbert, Evelyn Cohen, Mildred McNair, and Frank Williams, Jr., son-in- law, Johnathan Jones.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Phillip Eric Thomas of Tampa, FL, who passed away on December 9, 2021, will be held at Light of the World Church of De- liverance, 4701 North 15th St., Tampa, FL, on Saturday, Decem- ber 18, 2021, at 2 p. m. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4610 East Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL.
Mr. Phillip Eric Thomas was born on June 21, 1974 in Tampa, FL, to Joan E. Gundy. He was a professional cook for most of his career starting at Big John’s Ala- bama BBQ, then progressing to freelance services. He volun- teered at Trinity Center feeding the homeless and assisted indi- viduals and groups giving back to the community.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, John and Zona Bell Gundy; his son, Phillip E. Thomas, Jr. (Willetta Glen-Har- ris - mother).
He leaves behind: his daugh- ter, Philethia Ericka Thomas; mother, Joan Eva Gundy; broth- ers, Ernest Lee Thomas, John Thomas (Zonata) and Paul W. Thomas; best friends, Ron Gudes, Keith Yore, John Larry and De- andre Edmonds; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Stephens Fam- ily and McCalla Family. There will be a visitation on Friday, Decem- ber 17th, from 5 p. m.-7 p. m. at Gudes Funeral Home, 4050 E. Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 1:45 p. m. for the service. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
