Interment will be made in Or- ange Hill Cemetery, 4900 East Chelsea Street, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Adele Adjoh Kunakey was born on the 6th of February 1961 in the city of Niamey, Niger to Togolese parents. Her father, Damien Etse Kunakey and mother Therese Nicoe-Agbo.
Damien and Therese had a total of 10 children together and Adele was the 4th born. There was an age difference of a year and a half between her and her younger sister, Yvonne whom we all know.
From a very young age in the family she showed leadership qualities by managing her sib- lings. It was easier for the younger siblings to accept, but she also tried to assert herself over her older siblings as well.
At the age of 25, her mother introduced her to business. She started by selling wax Hol- landaise material in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. This led her to start business by buying jewelry in Brazil and selling them in Lome Togo. She started her business here in America more than 30 years ago.
Adele was not just a wife, but a mother of 3 boys.
Her most devoted survivors are her sons, Koffi Benedict Ag- boton and Pierre Olivier Sokpoh.
Adele loved the Lord and was a great intercessor. She shared the Gospel with every- one that came her way. We be- lieve that she is with the Lord. May her soul rest in peace.
Visitation is Friday from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. at Harmon Funeral Home. CDC requirements for COVID 19. Masks required.
