The Pasco Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay and the Florida Sheriff’s Association, has increased the reward for in- formation involving a murder. The reward is now up to $8,000.
Detectives are seeking in- formation leading to the iden- tity and arrest of suspect(s) in the February 2019 murder of Carlos Saint Louis. His body was found in a pond in Zephyrhills on February 19th.
Saint Louis’ family last saw him on February 2nd. They filed a report with the Tampa Police Department and re- ported him missing on Febru- ary 5th.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown sus- pect(s) involved in the homi- cide of Carlos Saint Louis.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an elected official. She was charged with aggravated stalking.
According to police, on Tuesday, February 26th, Ms. Maurice Nelson Campbell, 59, Vice Mayor of Fort Meade, was taken into custody. She is accused of repeatedly harassing a woman she has known for years.
Police said the unnamed victim said Ms. Campbell ac- cused her of having an intimate relationship with her (Camp- bell’s) husband.
According to the arrest affi- davit, the victim had contacted police in the past, but did not pursue criminal charges after Ms. Campbell stopped ha- rassing her.
However, on Friday, Febru- ary 8th, the victim said she re- ceived calls from Ms. Campbell at 4:46 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., from the phone be- longing to Ms. Campbell’s husband. The victim said she did not answer the calls.
The victim received a third call at 11:55 p.m., and the vic- tim answered. She said she im- mediately recognized the voice as that of Ms. Campbell, and disconnected. She received calls at 11:59 p.m., and two more calls that she did not an- swer.
The victim told police she turned her phone off for the re- mainder of the night. The next morning, she discovered three missed calls on her phone from Ms. Campbell’s phone. Two

of the calls were made from the phone belonging to Ms. Campbell. The victim did not recognize the third number.
Ms. Campbell also left voice messages on the phone.
The voicemails contained a variety of profanities and made a threat to cause the victim physical harm. During one of the calls, Ms. Campbell re- portedly said, “And this is Maurice Campbell and I ap- prove that (expletive) message, police said.
The victim told police she believed the threat to be credi- ble and that the frequent ha- rassment had caused her undue stress and anxiety. The victim said she believes Ms. Camp- bell uses her position on the Fort Meade City Commission to intimidate her.
Ms. Campbell has been arrested in the past for aggra- vated assault with a deadly weapon (Jacksonville); shoplifting (Orlando); and petty larceny, failure to appear (Orange County).

The Sheriff’s Office is also posting billboards featuring Saint Louis’ photograph and a photograph of his missing ve- hicle. Pasco Sheriff’s Office hopes offering this enhanced reward will encourage the pub- lic to provide additional infor- mation necessary to solve this homicide and locate Saint Louis’s vehicle.
The vehicle is a 4-door 2015 Chevrolet Sonic with the Florida tag # EQS W64 and was
last seen by toll plaza cameras on the Polk Parkway in central Florida. The billboards are pro- vided in conjunction with the FBI.
Pasco Sheriff’s Office appre- ciates the assistance of the other agencies and hopes it leads to a resolution in the mur- der of Carlos Saint Louis.

Man Pleads Guilty To Possessing Gun
A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm. He is facing a maximum of ten years in prison. A sentencing date has not been established.
According to the plea agreement, the offense took place on March 6, 2018, in East Tampa. On that date, Tampa police officers observed Jauwan Smith, of Tampa, walking in the area of Chelsea Street and 25th Street. When

the officers approached Smith and engaged him in conversa- tion, Smith allegedly admit- tedhehadaguninhis possession. The officers then found a loaded 7.56 mm cal- iber pistol in his waistband. The weapon was loaded with 7 rounds.
Smith was convicted of felony offenses in 2014 and is not allowed to have a gun or ammunition in his possession.

Woman Wanted For Tricking Clerk Out Of $400
Police are searching for a woman who allegedly conned an employee out of $400. The scam has reportedly taken place in various counties of Florida as well.
According to police, the woman is described as having olive toned skin about 5’6”, and 200 pounds, approached a clerk at Cracker Barrel, 1880 Highway 60 E., in Valrico. The incident took place on Febru- ary 10th, around 8 p.m.
The woman is said to have pretended to make a purchase and handed the clerk the money, then asked for change in return. She then changed her mind and asked for her money back.
The woman repeated the process four times. After the fourth exchange, she was able to trick the clerk out of $400. The woman then left the store with another woman and a child.
Police said that while the woman was interacting with the clerk, the second woman appeared to be shoplifting to attempt to distract other em- ployee toward her direction.
