VAN NUYS, CA – Soulja Boy was taken into custody Thursday (April 11) for multiple probation violations, The Blast reports.
The 27-year-old recording artist, born DeAndre Cortez Way, is currently being held without bail and is expected to remain behind bars until his hearing on April 30.
The arrest stems from a raid on his San Fernando Valley home February 17, after it was suspected that he was holding his ex-girlfriend against her will. A search warrant issued by a Los Angeles County judge granted law enforcement access to his home where they discovered ammunition, resulting in his ar- rest in March after meeting with his probation officer.
However, he was released

shortly after on his own recogni- zance just in time for his per- formance at a Los Angeles Clippers game and bragged about his release.

Cardi B won’t be visiting Donald Trump in the White House anytime soon.
“I hate him. I just hate him,” the rapper said Friday night at Swisher Sweets’s 2019 Spark Award Party in WeHo.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, the Grammy- winning artist said she could- n’t elaborate on the Trump comment (“I have a court case, LOL”) but preferred the poli- tics of Bernie Sanders in the 2020 election.
“We need healthcare!” she declared.
Her debut LP, “Invasion of Privacy,” just went triple plat- inum so the 26 year-old is tak- ing her time.
“It’s big pressure on me,”

she laughed. “It’s like aw, snap, what the hell am I going to come up with?”
The “Money” rapper did tease a collaboration on the album with two young, rela-
tively unknown artists whom she couldn’t name.
The hip-hop artist also dis- cussed her upcoming feature film debut, “Hustlers,” in which she stars opposite Jen- nifer Lopez, Constance Wu and Julia Stiles. The story follows a group of strip- pers as they scam their Wall Street clientele out of thou- sands of dollars.
“I might teach her a little somethin’,” Cardi, a former exotic dancer herself, said of pairing up with J.Lo.
“I’m excited,” Cardi said about the STX project, which she shoots next month. “I love the story. It still happens in the strip club community and I cannot wait to act.”
A man who was shot and in- jured during the attack that killed Nipsey Hussle has been arrested due to his association with the late rapper.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department has taken Kerry Lathan into cus- tody at a downtown L. A. jail. Lathan had just been released last month after serving 20 years on murder charges when he went to meet Hussle outside his Marathon Clothing store.
Hussle had apparently in- vited Lathan to the store to give him fresh clothes before meeting with friends and fam- ily.
That’s when Eric Holder,
who has been charged with fa- tally shooting Hussle, showed up and killed the beloved rapper on March 31. Hussle, whose birth name was Ermias As- ghedom, was 33. Nathan also sustained injuries from the shooting that left him in a wheelchair.
However, one of the stipula- tions of his parole was that he could not associate with known gang members. According to police, Nipsey belonged to the Rollin 60’s Crips.
Nathan was arrested this week at his halfway house. He’s currently waiting in jail as au- thorities try to revoke his pa- role.
Johnny Depp Is Suing Ex-Wife Amber Heard For $50 Million In A Defamation Lawsuit
(FAIRFAX, Va.) — Actress Amber Heard asked a judge Thursday to dismiss a $50 mil- lion defamation lawsuit her ex- husband Johnny Depp filed over an op-ed about domestic violence she wrote in The Washington Post.
In the motion filed in the Cir- cuit Court of Fairfax, Virginia, Heard reiterates her allega- tions that Depp abused her before and during their mar- riage and includes exhibits such as photos of her with bruises on her face and scars on her arms, images of damage she says Depp did to their home, screenshots of text mes-

sages describing the incidents at the time, and excerpts of her
divorce deposition describing domestic abuse.
“Johnny Depp physically and verbally abused Amber Heard,” her attorney Eric George said in a statement. “Since their divorce, Mr. Depp has continued to pub- licly harass Ms. Heard, and attempted to gaslight the world by denying his abuse. It is long past time for Mr. Depp’s despicable conduct to end.”
Depp’s lawsuit, filed last month, called the ongoing alle- gations of domestic abuse “cat- egorically and demonstrably false.”
