Hillary Clinton is pulling out all the stops for her final swing through the crucial bat- tleground state of Ohio. Or at least the very, very tall ones.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James joined Clin- ton at a campaign event in Cleveland on Sunday, dwarfing the Democratic presidential nominee as he pushed Ohioans to support her at the polls.
As a child growing up in inner-city Akron, the 6-foot-8 NBA star said he believed "our vote doesn't matter."
"But it really does," he said.
Standing beside -- and some- what below -- James, Clinton praised his work on the court and for improving the lives of children through his founda- tion.
"What he does off the court is to care for every child as though that child is his own," she said.
Clinton added: "I will be on your side. I will fight for you."

legacy, Clinton has struggled to motivate black voters. In early voting, they have turned out in lower numbers than the record black turnout in 2008 and 2012 that helped fuel Obama's historic candidacy. The slump could hurt her in swing states, like Ohio and Pennsylvania, where urban, black turnout is crucial for De- mocrats.
On Sunday morning, Clin- ton stopped by an African- American church in solidly Democratic northwest Philadel- phia to warn parishioners that "everything" they care about is on the ballot.
But her team feels particu-
larly concerned about Ohio, where polls show her in a dead heat with her Republican rival, Donald Trump. On Friday, she appeared at a free concert featuring rapper Jay Z and his wife, Beyonce Carter Knowles, in Cleveland.
LeBron, who helped end Cleveland's championship drought earlier this summer by winning a title with the Cava- liers, endorsed Clinton last month in an op-ed article in which he argued she would be a champion for children and im- prove life for African-Ameri- cans.
"Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty," wrote James, who grew up poor in that city and has started a foundation to im- prove educational outcomes for at-risk children in his home- town.
He campaigned for Obama in 2008.
Paul George Apologizes For Kicking Ball Into Stands, Expects Fine

Indiana Pacers superstar forward Paul George was ejected from Saturday night's game against the Chicago Bulls after he kicked a ball into the stands and it hit a fan in the face.
After the game, George apologized for the incident.
"I meant to kick the ball against the mat, the stanchion, I guess," George said after the Pacers' 111-94 win over the Bulls. "And my soccer skills isn't as good as I thought. I apologized to the people who I hit, and I'm glad my team was able to pick up this win and me not be at fault for the loss."
The play occurred with 1:42 remaining in the third quarter, after George was called for a foul. With the ball still bounc- ing on the floor, George kicked it into the first few rows of seats.
"Sure, I'll get a fine," George said. "It happened. But most importantly, we got a good win tonight."
George said when he apolo- gized to the fan, she told him she was OK.
Cavs Players Feel Shooting Effects Of Joe Biden Motorcade-Caused Delay
Election season in the swing state of Pennsylvania got the best of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, when a motorcade believed to be es- corting Vice President Joe Biden from a Hillary Clin- ton rally in nearby Bucks County caused some of the team to be delayed on its way to its game against the 76ers.
After their bus was stopped for more than 20 minutes waiting for the motorcade to pass, Kyrie Irving, J. R. Smith and Iman Shumpert left it along with team security personnel and hopped in an Uber to finish their trip to the Wells Fargo Center.
They arrived approximately 65 minutes before tipoff.

Olajuwon On All-Time Scoring List
Sign Archie Goodwin
A third championship in June cemented LeBron James' place as a top-10 player in NBA history in many people's subjective rankings. There is no disputing his place as a top-10 scorer, at the very least, after Saturday.
James passed Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon for 10th on the all-time scor- ing list in the first quarter of the Cavaliers' 102-101 win over the 76ers on Saturday night.
He scored on a fast-break layup with 6:02 remaining in the first quarter against Philadelphia, putting the Cavs up 14-7 and overtaking by one point Olajuwon's career total of 26,946 points in the process. James finished with 25 points on the night.
"For me, scoring has never been on my list of goals,"

James said after the game. "Facilitating, getting my guys involved, and rebounding, de- fending, getting blocked shots and things of that nature al- ways ranked above that, and formetobeinthetop10with so many great players that's played this game -- I don't know how many, I don't even know the list of how many guys have played in this league since the inaugural year -- but ... it's just a blessing. It's an honor."
The New Orleans Pelicans will release injured swingman Lance Stephenson to sign former Phoenix Suns guard Archie Goodwin on Mon- day, according to league sources.
Goodwin confirmed the looming deal via Twitter on Sunday night.
The Pelicans need a back- court boost after learning Saturday that Stephenson needs groin surgery and will be out indefinitely. New Or- leans didn't want to waive Stephenson, sources said, but needs to create a roster spot and made the decision Sunday night after conceding that Stephenson won't be able to return to the lineup for several weeks at the earli- est.
LANCE STEPHENSON
New Orleans (0-6) was al- ready playing without start- ing point guard Jrue Holiday (personal reasons) and two veteran scorers re- covering from knee surgery - - Tyreke Evans and Quincy Pondexter -- when Stephenson went down. Goodwin is expected to be available Monday night when the Pelicans face the Golden State Warriors on the road.
