Drake Just Spent $400,000 On An iPhone Case And It Barely Dented His Net Worth
The personalised Drake phone case is diamond encrusted.
NYPD Commander Investigated After Allegedly Telling Officers To Shoot 50 Cent On Sight
Drake season never ends. Ever since the Toronto born- rapper released his first mix- tape back in 2006, he's always been a bit of a force to be reck- oned with in the music indus- try. From ‘So Far Gone’ and 'Take Care' to ‘Scorpion’ and 'Nice for What', few artists have ever dominated the charts, the internet and be- yond in the way Drake does. Who else could have inspired the 'In My Feelings' chal- lenge? He is a viral king.
With that in mind, it's no surprise that Drake is very wealthy. From his music to his business ventures, he's never not making money. He's re- cently been criticised for ex- pensive ticket prices but he's also been praised for his gen- erosity and his charity work.
When Drake's not earning and giving money though, he spends it (have you seen his house?) and now the internet's losing it over his new iPhone case.
A New York City Police De- partment commander is being investigated for allegedly threatening 50 Cent. Accord- ing to the New York Daily News, Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez — who has had issues with 50 in the past — told officers to “shoot him on sight.”
Gonzalez allegedly made the comment on June 7, 2018 during roll call at the 72nd Precinct stationhouse, shortly before 50’s planned atten- dance at an NYPD-sanctioned boxing match.
“The inspector just said that

at roll call,” a source with knowledge of the case told the Daily News. “I’m like WTF.”
Gonzalez reportedly at-
tempted to claim it was a joke, but the comment made its way up the chain of command and sparked a probe.
“The incident is under in- ternal review,” a department spokesman said.
A month prior to the inci- dent, Gonzales filed an ag- gravated harassment complaint against 50. The complaint was prompted by the G-Unit founder writing his familiar “get the strap” catch- phrase in a since-deleted In- stagram post about Gonzales targeting the Brooklyn club Love and Lust.
BlocBoy JB Wanted For Drug, Gun & Theft Charges
As Chicago police declare a significant shift in “the trajec- tory of the investigation” of the alleged attack on Jussie Smollett nearly three weeks ago, the attorneys for the Em- pire star has come out swing- ing tonight in his defense.
“As a victim of a hate crime who has cooperated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and dev- astated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individu- als he is familiar with,” said de- fense lawyers Todd S. Pugh and Victor P. Henderson in a statement obtained by Dead- line.
He has now been further vic- timized by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack,” the Chicago- based attorneys add of the sup- posed assault in the early hours of January 29. “Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying.”
Earlier Saturday, a law en- forcement official close to the Chicago PD probe told Dead- line that “the new direction of the investigation is now based on the premise that Mr. Smollett was an active partic- ipant in the incident.” CNN also reported sources in the de- partment telling the cable newser today that the actor, who plays the openly gay Jamal Lyon on the hit Fox drama, “paid two men to or- chestrate the assault.”
to be involved in the attack. They were released without charges on Friday (February 15) and are reportedly fully co- operating with police in light of the “new evidence” authorities have uncovered.
Chicago PD’s Chief Com- munications Officer confirmed there’s been a change in the case. “The information re- ceived from the individuals questioned by police earlier in the Empire case has in fact shifted the trajectory of the in- vestigation.”
Smollett, who recently ap- peared on Good Morning America to tell his story, main- tains he’s a victim in this case. Police have reached out to Smollett’s attorney for a fol- low-up interview.
In what has evolved into a complicated case full of twists and turns, police are now sug- gesting Empire actor Jussie Smollett orchestrated his own attack.
According to CNN, two law enforcement sources privy to the details of the investigation say Smollett paid two Niger- ian brothers to execute the plan. One of the men had ap- peared on Empire in the past.
The two brothers were ar- rested by Chicago authorities on Wednesday (February 13) but were eventually released without charges after detec- tives discovered the “new evi- dence.” They are now reportedly fully cooperating with police.

He Staged Attack
Jussie Smollett’s attorney has issued a statement on be- half of his client, adamantly denying reports the Empire actor staged his own attack.
In a statement obtained by TMZ, Smollett’s lawyer re- veals his client is “devastated” by the accusation he hired two men to carry out the assault.
Smollett reported the in- cident on January 29, which initially appeared to be a pos- sible hate crime. At the time, Smollett claimed two men yelling “racial and homophobic slurs” attacked him outside a Loews Hotel in Chicago.
On Wednesday (February 13), police arrested two Niger- ian brothers who were believed
