A Homegoing Celebra- tion for Mrs. Viola Delores “Chip” White of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, will be held Tuesday, February 19th, 1 p. m. at Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, 2606 W. Grace St., Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiating. The in- terment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Viola Delores White was born December 8, 1934 in Cottondale, Florida. She at- tended Mt. Tabor M. B. Church. She loved to travel, especially going on cruises. She also loved studying the Bible attending and gradu- ated from Bible College. She loved serving the commu- nity, she was known for her “Clothing and Shoe Closet” at her church. She was also a caregiver to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Abraham White; parents, Joe and Viola Long; sisters and brothers, JD Long, Martha Peeples, Mary Clemons, Elma Long, Joe Long, Jr., Ida Lee Hester and Eddie Long.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, Charles Long (Felecia Gilmore Long) and Brenda Cogdell (Matthew Cogdell); grandchildren, Bilan Walker, Rhonda Cogdell, Ben Cogdell and Matthew S. Cogdell; great- grandchildren, Janii Bowe, Xen Cogdell and Issa Cogdell; devoted sisters-in- law, Elizabeth Lester, Mathye McCloud and Carrie Howard; nieces, Olivia Har- rison, Roslin Clemons, Diane Long, Ethel Catlin, Sharon Anderson, Karen Long, Sheila Johnson, Sophia Garmon, Michelle Seabrooks and Sharon Mc- Clendon; nephews, Ralph Goff, Keith Howard, Ken- neth Howard, Bernardo Richardson, Michael Mc- Cloud, Bill White and Karl White; Camilla Doughrity and Clara Walker, care- givers and staff at Palm Gar- den.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Monday, February
 FRANK LOGAN, JR.
Former Tampa resident Frank Logan, Jr., passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Washington, D. C. Frank grew up in the area of 21st Street and 21st Avenue, and graduated from Middle- ton High School.
After attending Florida A & M University, he moved to Washington, D. C., and re- mained a resident there until his passing.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Marshall Marsh Funeral Home, 4308 Suitland Road, Suitland, MD 20746.
Homegoing services will be held on Thursday, Febru- ary 21, 2019, at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Martin Luther King, Jr., Avenue, SE, Washington, D. C., 20020.
