Bridgetown, Barbados, and a resident of Florida for over 40 years. She was a retired Registered Nurse who served over 35 years work- ing both with local hospitals and Private Duty organiza- tions.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her brother, Patrick Taylor; sister, Lorna Hunte; children, Andrew King and Tanya King- Gowdy; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchil- dren.

Mr. Curtis Lee Jones, of MacClenny, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 4 p. m., at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Av- enue, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED). Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park.
Mr. Jones was a native of Yulee, Florida. He was em- ployed as a Truck Driver for various companies through- out Tampa before retire- ment.
Curtis Lee Jones was pre- ceded in death by: his par- ents, Willie and Odessa (Hubbard) Jackson; brother, Albert Anderson; sisters, Annie M. Moore and Virginia M. Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: former wife, Linda Jones; children, Mellissa Glover (Dunnell, Sr.); Linda Jones-Hall (Curtis), Curtis Jones, Jr., Kenneth Jones (Sherocka), and Tracy Jones (Bridget); sisters, Ollie Turner (Charlie), Linda Grif- fith, Gail Thompson, Faye Stripling (Virgil), Kathelina Jackson, Shirley Banks (Em- mitt), Joyce Farmer (Cecil), Lillie Jackson, and Bessie Fitzgerald; brothers, Willie K. Jackson (Alisa), Charles Jackson (Valerie), and Johnny Jackson; sister-in- law, Dorothy Anderson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

 MR. JOHNNY JAMES BARTHEL
Mr. Johnny James Barthel, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Funeral Serv- ices will be conducted on Fri- day, August 6, 2021, 10 a. m., at Allen Temple A. M. E. Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, FL 33605, with Pas- tor Phil Mason, officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
Johnny was the only child born to James and Sara Barthel on August 18, 1947, in Ocilla Georgia. He re- ceived his education through the Hillsborough County Public School System, grad- uating in 1966 from Howard W. Blake High School. Johnny served in the United States Army with the Rank of E5. He was employed by the Longshoremen Organization from October 1966 through September 1992.
Johnny James Barthel was a dedicated husband, fa- ther, grandfather, and friend. He was very knowl- edgeable and enjoyed shar- ing his historical stories over the years with his children, grandchildren, friends and even strangers. He accepted Christ at an early age, and he was an active member at Causeway Baptist Church in Clair Mel City, Florida. He served as a member there until he became physically unable to attend church.
Johnny was preceded in death by: his parents, James and Sarah Barthel.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his lovely wife of 49 years, Patricia Ann Barthel of Tampa, FL; six children, Wanda Barkley of Orlando, FL; Johnny Barthel, Jr. (Carol) of Jack- sonville, FL; Juan Barthel (Jennifer) of Winter Haven, FL; Robert Barkley, Jr. (Courtney) of Jacksonville, FL; Shiriki White (Resha) of Ruskin, FL; and Mister Barthel of Tampa, FL; eight-
