MRS. FRANCES WOODEN
The Home going Celebra- tion for Mrs. Frances Wooden, affectionately known as “The Praying Lady,” who departed this life on July 28, 2021, will be held on August 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke AME Church, 2709 N. 25th Street, Tampa, FL, with Reverend Kirk Bogen officiating. Inter- ment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Wooden was born December 10, 1925, to the parentage of Ed Sims, Sr., and Mary Frances Sims, in Marianna, Florida. She was educated in the Leon County School System. She later went to Panama City, where she graduated from Rosen- wald High School, Class of 1945.
She was a member of St. Luke A.M.E. Church for 68 years. Mrs. Wooden was a former member of the Choir #1, Usher Board #1, Pastor’s Aide Board, Steward Board, and the Young at Heart Min- istry. She was given the name “The Praying Lady” be- cause she was invited to churches to be on their pro- grams to deliver the prayer in and out of town.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ed Sims, Sr., and Mary Frances Sims; husband, Frank Wooden, Sr.; daughter, Glo- ria Jean Sims; son, Frank Wooden, Jr.; and 11 siblings.
Mrs. Wooden is survived by: her daughters, Linda Myers and Wanda Wooden; grandchildren, Joanna Grif- fin (Vashon), Andre Davis,

Mrs. Gwendolyn T. An- derson was born on October 31, 1960, in Tampa, Florida to the parentage of Robert Thomas and Cynthia Bell. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County. Mrs. Ander- son was a Supervisor for an insurance company.
Mrs. Anderson was pre- ceded in death by her par- ents, Robert Thomas and Cynthia Bell; grandmother, Nadine Felder.
Mrs. Gwendolyn Ander- son is survived by: husband, Dan Charles Anderson; chil- dren, Robert Aaron Thomas, Ericia Denise Green, Delton Jamal Ander- son and Alicia Michelle An- derson; grandchildren, Kee Erica Jones and DaShawn Jamari Anderson; siblings, Stephanie Speed, Tracey Butler and Derrick Demtrius Speed; aunt, Fer- lia Bryant; nephews and nieces, Reshawn Edwards, Cedric Davis and JaShondra Speed and a host other rela- tives and friends.

MR. ANTHONY JENNINGS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Anthony Jennings will be held on Saturday, Au- gust 7, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Officiating. Inter- ment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mr. Anthony Jennings was born on August 31, 1954, in Tampa, Florida. He was the third child born to Sylvester and Lenora Jen- nings, both of whom pre- ceded him in death. Anthony was also preceded in death by his older brother, Billy Jennings.
Mr. Jennings received his education in the Hillsbor- ough County Public School System. He graduated from Hillsborough High School, Class of 1972.
Anthony will be remem- bered by his special smile, his caring heart, the way he loved his family and the way he helped everyone.
He found great impor- tance in making certain that no matter what happened in his life he still remained with a good heart. Anthony greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.
On July 26, 2021, An- thony Jennings transitioned from this life here on earth to his Heavenly Home.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with: two sons, Derick Loud (Alexia) and Marcus Jennings; three daughters, Angela Jennings, Andrea Griffin and Sylvia Jennings; 21 grandchildren; a host of great grandchil- dren; two brothers, Odell Jackson and Lester Jennings (Mildred); sister, Shameka Jennings; mother of his two children, Versie Oliver; nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

MRS. FLORINE ‘DOUGIE’ WRIGHT
A Celebration of Life serv- ice for Mrs. Florine "Dougie" Wright, who passed away on July 28, 2021, will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Orange Hill

Mrs. Florine Wright was born February 12, 1947 in Oconee, Georgia, St. Simons Island, to the parentage of Charlie Darrisaw and Trudie Page. Mrs. Wright graduated from Wrightsville High School.
She later relocated to
Tampa, Florida in 1971. She was a housewife and role model to her beloved grand- children.
Mrs. Wright was known as a caring, kind, generous and loving mother and grand- mother. She also loved and treated her friends as if they were her family. Mrs. Wright’s favorite hobbies were music, dancing, cook- ing and attending family cookouts. She also loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Wight was preceded in death by: mother, Trudie Pierce Page; father, Charlie Darrisaw and great-grand- son, Kundre Mitchell, Jr.
