Did Lamar Jackson Wear White Sleeves, Glove In Response To Tim Ryan Comments?
LSU Earns Top Seed In College Football Playoff Over Ohio State
Lamar Jackson had yet another big game for the Bal- timore Ravens, and he seemed to make a very spe- cific point during the win.
During the first half of the game, Jackson was wearing white sleeves and even had a white glove on his left hand. The Ravens beat the Buffalo Bills, 24-17.
Why was that significant?
San Francisco 49ers radio analyst Tim Ryan said dur- ing the week that the Niners had trouble picking up the football out of Jackson’s

hands in the Week 13 game between the teams because the quarterback’s dark skin camouflages the dark ball.
“He’s really good at that
fake, Lamar Jackson, but when you consider his dark skin with a dark football with a dark uniform, you could not see that thing,” Ryan said, via Matthias Gafni and Lauren Hernandez of the San Francisco Chronicle. “I mean you literally could not see when he was in and out of the mesh point and if you’re a half step slow on him in terms of your vision forget about it, he’s out of the gate.”
Ryan was suspended for his comment, which received widespread attention.
LSU was dominant in its win over Georgia to capture the SEC championship on Saturday, and that perform- ance was enough to convince the College Football Playoff committee to give them the top spot in the CFB Playoff over Ohio State.
The four playoff teams were revealed on Sunday,
and LSU was named No. 1. Ohio State has the 2-seed and Clemson and Oklahoma are No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. There was a lot of debate over whether LSU or Ohio State deserved the top spot, and Saturday’s conference cham- pionship games likely played a role in how the teams were seeded.

Newton Might Still Be The
Is Simone Biles Thinking Of
Carolina Panthers quar- terback Cam Newton is having surgery this week to repair a Lisfranc injury that ultimately shut him down after Week 2.
This has nothing to do with Sunday’s 40-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
It has everything to do with the future of the organi- zation, though. Whomever owner David Tepper hires to replace Ron Rivera as the next head coach will need a top quarterback to have a chance for immediate suc- cess.

KYLE ALLEN AND CAM NEWTON
Simone Biles and boyfriend Stacey Ervin, Jr. traveled to Belize with friends and family to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
She posted a few pictures on Instagram that has the in- ternet buzzing with thoughts of marriage.
One in particular with the caption, “I wanna spend the rest of my sunsets with you.”

that Kyle Allen is not that quarterback. Another bad day against a bad Atlanta de- fense is a big reason for that.
Allen was 28-of-41 for 293 yards, with one touchdown and three turnovers (two in- terceptions and one fumble).
The Falcons have 10 in- terceptions on the season. Six have come against Allen, who has lost five straight starts after winning five of his first six. His untimely turnovers are a part of why Carolina has gone from 5-3 and a playoff contender to 5-
8. This season hasn’t gone awry only because of Allen - - but, as Rivera said Wednesday, the Panthers’ troubles began when New- ton was injured last season (shoulder) and again this season (left foot).
Tepper recently said no decision has been made on Newton’s future with the organization, saying the pri- ority was to get the 2015 NFL MVP healthy. A completely healthy Newton with a rela- tively low 2020 salary-cap figure of $21.5 million could give the next coach the best chance to win. The emphasis here is on completely healthy.
Patriots Still Have No
Plans To Bring Back
Antonio Brown
There is perhaps no team in the NFL that could use Antonio Brown’s services more than the New England Patriots, but that does not mean they have any intention of bringing the star receiver back.
The Patriots have not con- sidered re-signing Brown after they released him back in September, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. However, Brown is expected to sign with a team as soon as the NFL concludes its investiga- tion into the sexual miscon- duct allegations against him.
With New England strug- gling on offense for several weeks now, Brown has taken to social media on nu- merous occasions to apolo- gize for his actions earlier in

the year and hint that he wants to reunite with Tom Brady. However, Brown ripped Patriots owner Robert Kraft in a since- deleted tweet after the team cut him, and it’s possible that and his off-field behavior have resulted in the team permanently ending its rela- tionship with the Pro Bowler.
