Jay-Z Rings In 50th Birthday With Limited Edition D'USSÉ Cognac
It's Jay-Z Day and that can only mean one thing–an endless streaming party for the music mogul. While you're jamming to Reason- able Doubt on Tidal or enjoy- ing the re-release of his discography on Spotify, you can also be on the lookout for D'USSÉ's latest release.
D’USSÉ 1969 Anniversaire is a cognac produced from a single barrel in France where the brand's other popular ex- pressions like D’USSÉ XO ($199) and VSOP ($50) are made. The difference, how- ever, is the resulting cognac was aged in a single oak cask with a single eau de vie. This is a treat for spirit enthusiasts since most barrels are blended. Jay had a chance to sample the rare batch with Maître de Chai (Cellar Mas- ter) Michel Casavecchia a few years ago, making this re-

lease one to remember.
Jay has given out 50 bot- tles of the batch to his closest friends and family but fans will be able to score the batch during the 2020 holiday sea- son. Since there was only one barrel made of D’USSÉ 1969 Anniversaire, this will make it a pretty hot commodity
next year.
Jay-Z became a partial
owner of the spirits brand over six years ago as well as the full owner of premium Champagne brand Armand de Brignac. The Distilled Spirits Council by way of For- tune reports the brandy/co- gnac market is the place to be with the spirit selling 6.4 mil- lion nine-liter cases last year–a 12% increase from 2018's sales.

NBA YoungBoy's Brothers Arrested In Connection With Teen's Murder
BATON ROUGE, LA – The two younger brothers of pop- ular Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy have reportedly been arrested in Baton Rouge for second-degree murder.
According to Fox8 News Baton Rouge, 18-year-old Davaughn Tate and 16- year-old Jeffrey Tate were taken into custody on Wednesday (December 5) for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of 17- year-old Javon Brown.
On Monday (December 2), Brown and a friend were walking home in East Baton Rouge Parish when three

male suspects approached them. A fight ensued and Brown was shot. He later
died of his injuries at Louisiana hospital.
Louisiana Sheriff’s dep- uties suspected the Tate brothers were involved after Jeffrey checked himself into a local hospital to treat a non- fatal gunshot injury. Investi- gators believe Jeffrey was accidentally shot during the fight.
After being treated and re- leased, Jeffery was ques- tioned by authorities and booked into the parish’s juve- nile detention center on one count of second-degree mur- der, principal to illegal use of a weapon and simple battery.
Moesha fans have wanted to know if the Brandy-led show will come back ever since it ended in 2001. An ap- propriate question, seeing how so many of our favorite shows from the late '90s and early '00s are making come- backs in pop culture. Thanks to Brandy, we finally have a positive answer.
It has been reported that
during Sheryl Lee Ralph's DIVA Foundation event this week, Ralph herself asked the question of Brandy, who was in attendance, about a possi- ble reboot. Brandy replied, "Yeah! Absolutely."
"I'm here to solidify that we're gonna bring Moesha back," she said. You can see the moment captured on video.

Eddie Murphy Confirms He'll Reprise Other Characters In 'Coming To America' And 'Couldn't Be Happier'
Eddie Murphy is prais- ing the way Coming to America 2 is shaping up.
"I couldn't be happier with how it turned out," he said on The Ellen Degeneres Show Friday. "A lot of people have this expectation, like people would say to me when they found out I was doing it, ' Don't f--- that movie up.' So we've gone above and beyond what any- body would think. I'm really, really happy with it."
He also confirmed that all of the other characters he played in the original film will be back, meaning Mur- phy will be back in makeup once again. He'll also be

The Baby Phat comeback continues.
The women's streetwear brand was reacquired this year by Kimora Lee Simmons, who set out to relaunch the im- print with updated takes on its classic 2000s designs. And, unsurprisingly, the new gener- ation was stoked. Back in June, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons dropped a For- ever 21 collaborative collection that sold out online within 24
hours, proving the iconic brand is still very much in de- mand.
This week, Baby Phat rolled out its debut Holiday 2019 range, making its first official collection in its relaunch. The drop consists of pieces like velour tracksuits, crop tops, and drawstring pants. They will expand its offering in the near future, adding wind- breakers, overside hoodies, tees, and knitwear to the mix.
