Two Shot During Attempted Robbery Of Armored Brinks Truck
Brandon Man Charged With Murder
  Police are currently inves- tigating an attempted armed robbery that left two people injured by gunfire. The inci- dent began in front of the GTE Financial, 101 E. Bloom- ingdale Avenue, in Brandon Friday afternoon.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began shortly be- fore noon. An unidentified Black man attempted to rob a Brinks truck outside of the GTE Financial in Brandon.
It is believed that the Brinks driver was making a delivery to the ATM machine in front of the business at the time of the attack.
The suspect reportedly shot the Brinks truck driver once in his ballistic vest and once in the lower body. A Good Samaritan who at- tempted to stop the suspect from robbing the Brinks truck driver was shot once in the lower body.
Both were transported to a local hospital with serious, but non-life threatening in- juries.
Shortly after the at- tempted robbery and shoot- ing, a vehicle matching that of the suspect was located in- side the Bridgeport Apart- ments, 3385 Creekridge Road. The Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, Aviation Unit, and K-9 Units were deployed. The residents in the area where the vehicle was located were safely evac- uated.
Police searched an area containing 8 apartments for more than 5 hours. However, they were unable to locate the suspect.
During the search for the suspect, the Hillsborough County School District placed 14 schools on lockdown.
On Saturday, Sheriff Chad Chronister visited the two men in the hospital. The Good Samaritan did not want to be identified, police said.

     Police believe that the sus- pect may be the same person wanted by the Federal Bu- reau of Investigations in con- nection with the robberies of 5 credit unions as well as two carjackings.
A reward for information leading to the identity and ar- rest of that bank robbery sus- pect has reached $35,000. The reward is being offered by several law enforcement agencies.
A multi-agency task force, consisting of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Police De- partment, Pinellas Park Po- lice Department, and FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement), is asking for the public’s help.
The man is wanted in con- nection with the robberies of five banks in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties over the last year.
In all five of those bank robberies, the suspect passed a note to the teller and dis- played a black, semi-auto- matic handgun. The robberies took place on the following dates and locations: October 22, 2018, Mid- Florida Credit Union, 825 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon; February 22, 2019, Mid-Florida Credit Union, 3202 West Waters Avenue, Tampa; June 19, 2019, Mid- Florida Credit Union, 4300 Park Boulevard, Pinellas
On Saturday, Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff Chad Chronister visited the Good Samaritan who intervened in the robbery at the hospital.
Park; August 27, 2019, Sun- coast Credit Union, 3234 South Miller Road, Valrico; and October 9, 2019, Mid- Florida Credit Union, 29383 U. S. 19 North, Clearwater.
The suspect is a Black man between the ages of 30 and 40 years; 5’10” to 6’ feet in height, with a slender build. He wears a black and gray dreadlocks wig and pos- sibly has gold teeth. He should be considered armed and dangerous, officials said.

JEFFREY NEGRON ... Died at the scene
Shortly after 9 p.m., last Thursday, Tampa police were dispatched to a hang up 9-1-1 call. Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of E. North Bay Street.
When they arrived, they discovered an unidentified witness told them a man in- side a black truck had been shot. The officers began life saving first aid until Tampa Fire Rescue arrived. How- ever, the man, later identified as 36-year-old Jeffrey Ne- gron, died at the scene of a gunshot wound.
When the officers arrived, they reportedly observed a man standing on the passen- ger side of the truck. The man fled the scene on foot when he observed police, he fled the scene on foot.

that the man, identified as 38-year-old Robert Beausejour, Jr., of Bran- don, arrived at the residence and eventually forced his way into the residence, where he confronted Negron.
A physical confrontation between the two men ended when Beausejour produced a gun and shot Negron one time.
After conducting their in- vestigation, detectives ob- tained an arrest warrant for Beausejour. He was located at a residence in Valrico, where he was taken into cus- tody without incident.
Beausejour is charged with murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, armed burglary, and tamper- ing with a witness. The inves- tigation is continuing.
    Police Search For Man Who Broke Into Coin-Operated Machine
A police officer was injured early Monday by a burglary suspect. The incident took place at Advance Auto Parts, 1717 N. 50th Street.
According to a spokesman for the Tampa Police Depart- ment, the unidentified officer was the first on the scene, ar- riving shortly before 2 a.m., in response to an intrusion alarm. As she was approach- ing the building, she observed a man inside the front glass doors of the business.
When the suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Leonard Henry, saw the of- ficer, he allegedly threw a large pair of channel lock pli- ers through the front door. The pliers shattered the door and struck the officer in the face.
The officer called for assis- tance and kept the door cov- ered so that the suspect could not escape.
When the additional offi- cers arrived at the scene, they provided medical attention to

the injured officer. She was then transported to Tampa General Hospital, where she received 8 stitches over her left eye and was released.
The officers established a perimeter around the busi- ness and K9 Officer Jagger was sent inside the business. Henry was located hiding at the top of a storage shelf in the warehouse area.
Henry eventually was taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated bat- tery on a law enforcement of- ficer, possession of a controlled substance, bur- glary, and criminal mischief.

Burglary Suspect
 Police are currently searching for a suspect who entered a laundry and broke into the coin-operated ma- chines.
According to police, the suspect, who was wearing a pink wig, entered the Valrico Coin Laundry, 1993 E. 60 Highway and pried open sev- eral coin-operated machines. The crime took place on No- vember 27th.

of money from the machines. He also caused about $500.00 in damage to the machines before fleeing the
facility.
