      MR. MARVIN T. SIDNEY
Mr. Marvin T. Sidney of Lutz, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, Decem- ber11,2019,at10a.m.at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 8119 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., with Pas- tor Eugene Garnett, Sr., officiat- ing. Interment will follow at 1 p. m. in the Florida National Ceme- tery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL.
Marvin Thomas Sidney was a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for 38 years. He was a grad- uate of Henry Clay High School and was baptized at a young age while attending Evergreen Bap- tist Church, Lexington, KY. Upon graduation, Marvin joined the United States Air Force, where he served honorably. Al- though he served as Security Forces and Military Police, his compassion for wounded veter- ans led him to a 35-year career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the James Haley VA Hospital. Marvin’s compassion earned him many awards and letters of commendation from Congress.
Marvin rededicated his life to Christ when he joined Springhill M. B. Church in 2008.
Marvin was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Lee Sidney, Sr. and Mary Dalton Sid- ney Gordon; grandparents, Roscoe Dalton, Sr., Coradella Dalton, and Thomas and Emma Lee Rankins; two brothers, Robert Lee Sidney, Jr. and Ger- ald Wayne Sidney; five aunts, Virginia Dalton Sidney, Sue Dal- ton Francis, Willie Lee Dalton, Letitia Dalton Graves, and Polly Sidney Gill; and one uncle, Roscoe Dalton, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: the love of his life, his wife of 12 years, Denie Sidney; his beautiful daughter, Mattison Grace Sidney; brother, David Sidney of Austin, TX; sister, Pa- tricia Sidney of Lexington, KY; sisters-in-law, Clara Sidney of Winchester, KY, Janice Sidney of Lexington, KY, Dellareese (Kevin) Coulon of Tampa, FL, Salita (Samuel) Mason of Land O’ Lakes, FL, and Richelle (Cor- nelius) Robinson Louder of New- port Richey, FL; and a host of special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose, Tuesday, December 10, from 5 to 8 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p. m.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a man who attempted to rob a gas station in Seffner. The incident took place shortly after 6 a.m., on Sun- day, December 8th.
According to police, a white male entered the Shell/Circle K Gas Station, 6009 579 Hwy., in Seffner, and demanded money. The clerk refused to meet his de- mands and he left the busi- ness walking south towards E. Highway 92.

Police have arrested and charged a 52-year-old man with murder after he at- tacked two women with a knife. One of the women died as a result of the attack.
According to the St. Pe- tersburg Police Department, Ms. Marqueita Maynard, who turned 34 on December 5th, and her mother, Ms. Willie Maynard-Jones, had arrived home at 5342 22nd Avenue, N., around noon last Friday.
Stanley Jones was re- portedly at the home and at- tacked both women with a knife. He then fled the scene on a bicycle. Officers arrested Jones several blocks from where the stabbing had taken place.
When officers arrived, they discovered that both women had been injured. Ms. May- nard died as a result of her injuries. Her mother, Ms. Maynard-Jones, was transported to a local hospi-

tal for treatment.
Police said Jones and Ms.
Maynard-Jones were di- vorced. At the time of the stabbing, Jones was wanted for aggravated stalking.
Jones was charged with first-degree murder, at- tempted first-degree murder, armed burglary, violation of an injunction for domestic vi- olence, tampering with phys- ical evidence, aggravated stalking, and first-degree arson.

              Man Burglarizes
Restaurant At Mall
Food Court
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help in identifying a man who broke into a business at Uni- versity Square Mall last month. The crime took place on November 17th.
According to police, the man broke into a Taco Restaurant in the food court and escaped with money stolen from the business.
Just before 4 a.m. on No- vember 17, the man entered University Square Mall, 2200 E Fowler Avenue, via an un- locked service door. Once in- side the mall, the man walked directly to the food court and jumped the counter at the Tacos Gone Mobile restau- rant.
He forced his way into the office and stole money, a Samsung tablet and an un- known make and model cell phone. No tacos appeared to be stolen during the heist.
The suspect fled the mall on foot. He was last seen walking through the first floor of the parking garage to-

The suspect, seen on sur-
veillance cameras, is de- scribed as a Black male, approximately 5’11” and 200 lbs. He has a short afro hair- style and was last seen wear- ing a purple hoodie, red jeans, black and white hi-top sneakers and a black beanie hat.
