Doc McStuffins, the lovely Disney Junior show about a nurturing six-year-old girl who can talk to the stuffed animals that she cares for in her “clinic” may not be back on air.

Romeo Miller could be heading into the Lyon den! The rapper and actor posted a photo on Instagram teasing that he landed a guest role on the hit Fox show “Empire” for Season 3.
The hip hop soap opera is known for having celebrities appear on the show, and it looks like Miller could be the latest Hollywood star making his way onto the series when it returns in the fall.
On last Wednesday, the 26- year-old “Growing Up Hip Hop” star posted a picture of him lounging outside as he reads lines from a script. “That moment when @theoriginal- bigdaddy [creator Lee Daniels] hit you up to come read for @EmpireFox,” he cap- tioned the image. “Stepped away from the party to go study these lines. Garcelle Beauvais has been added to the cast of Spi- der-Man: Homecoming. The movie secures its lead even fur- ther as the Marvel Cinematic film with the most people of color in it – ever.
As the news has poured in, the hype has gotten bigger and bigger.
It’s really amazing to see how committed Marvel is to a mul- ticultural ensemble of actors in Spider-Man. The diverse, stacked cast already includes of Zendaya, Donald Glover, Abraham Attah, Hannibal Buress, Tiffany Espensen, Isabella Amara and Tony Revolori.

Beauvais’ name comes without even a hint of who it is she may play in the movie.

Romeo Gets Role On ‘Empire’
Last week, Lionsgate bought premium cable network Starz for $4.4 billion in cash and stock. Starz currently boasts buzzy shows like Power, Sur- vivor’s Remorse and Out- lander.

Thanks to the deal, Lionsgate will now own a collection of 17
Starz and Encore branded pre- mium channels and the Anchor Bay Entertainment home video banner.
Lionsgate’s most successful releases were The Hunger Games and Divergent fran- chises. The studio also had a deal with Tyler Perry and re- leased all of his films from 2005 to 2014. The latest season of Power airs July 17 and Sur- vivor’s Remorse will return on July 24.
A musical version of Love Jones is in the works. Ac- cording to MC Lyte, one of the quintessential black Amer- ican films of the 1990s has been adapted for the stage. This musical production comes in time for the 20th an- niversary of the movie that the community loves so much.
You know you’re getting old when a movie from your child- hood is now getting a remake.
It seems as though MC Lyte has something up her sleeves and she made the announce- ment on Instagram. The rap- per announced an upcoming musical version of the Theodore Witcher film.
The musical is set to start this fall and it stars MC Lyte along with Marsha Ambro- sius, Raheem DeVaughn, Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele and Dave Hollis- ter.
Another Black Actor Added To ‘Spider Man: Homecoming’
The girl group selected during the filming of former Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Row- land reality docuseries ‘Chas- ing Destiny’, has release their first single and video.
Now called, June’s Diary, the group has made appear- ances at the BET Awards and the Essence Musicfest.
The group is especially spe- cial to the bay area because one of the members, 19-year-old, Shyann Roberts is from St. Petersburg.
June’s Diary’s has been to- gether since February, even though the show did not air until April on BET, so the soul- ful quintet have wasted no time servicing material to the masses.
Indeed, they used the ‘Awards platform to debut the video for their new single ‘L.A.N.C.E.’
Speaking on the red carpet, the collective – comprised of Shyann, Kristal, Gabby, Ashly, and Brienna, spilled on their debut album.
