MOTHER ELLA MAE GOODEN
Mother Ella Mae Gooden of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Friday, July 1, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Sat- urday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at CityLife Church, 8411 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, Rev- erend Tony Stewart, Pastor, Reverend Keith Jacobs, offici- ating with Reverend Joseph Gordon, Eulogist.
Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 5233 118th Avenue North, Clearwater, FL. Mother Ella Mae Gooden was a native of Leslie, GA and a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for over 60 years. She was educated in the public schools of Leslie, GA and furthered her education to earn her CNA Certificate. She worked for many years at the Manhattan Convalescent Home, Tampa. Mother Gooden was a member of Pleasant Grove M. B. Church for many years under the pas- torate of Reverend Joseph Gordon. She was a loving mother to all who had the pleasure of meeting her and would give you her last.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jones and Mary Jane Black Jones; her husband, Dan E. Gooden; and 9 siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Mercedes Fluker (Leon), Tampa, FL, Betty J. Jones (Harold), St. Petersburg, FL, Dwight E. Gooden, Long Is- land, NY, Derrick Gooden, St. Petersburg, FL, Danny Gooden, Jacksonville, FL, Charles Gooden, Jacksonville, FL and Johnathan Gooden, Jacksonville, FL; 22 grandchil- dren; 30 great grandchildren; Goddaughter, Beverly Evans, Jacksonville, FL; Godson, Do- minick Ferguson, St. Peters- burg, FL; nephews raised as her own, Juan, Marco and Hector Green; aunts, Addie B. Jones, Ossie Jones and Doll Jones, all of Cobb, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, Ella Evans & family, Ferguson family, Ja- cobs family, White family, Jones family, Harris family, Walker family, Makee family and Pastors Bob and Debbie Richards of Chicago, IL; and caregivers (like daughters), Pauline Albritton, Christine Chang and Jolynn Harris.
The remains will repose after 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 8 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Chapel.

MR. COREY SINCLAIR GORDON, JR.
A homecoming celebration for Mr. Corey Sinclair Gordon Jr. of Charleston, SC, who passed away on June 20, 2016, will be held on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Idlewild at The Springs, 8209 N. 19th Street, Tampa, Florida 33604, Pastor Chip Luter, officiating.
Corey or “CJ” as most of us knew him, was born on July 21, 1998 in Charleston SC at MUSC Hospital. He was vibrant, play- ful, wonderful to be around and full of life. He was smart and al- ways used to know what he wanted to do with himself. He was loved by everyone.
He is survived by: his loving mother, Amy Chambers; his fa- ther, Corey Gordon Sr.; sisters, Kaylyn Butler, Destiny Gordon, and Miyah Gordon; grandpar- ents, Henry and Karen Cham- bers; grandmother, Mary Nesbitt; his great grandmother, Betty Hluzek; uncles, Cleveland McCoy and Alex Chambers; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday July 8, 2016 at Jackson Funeral Home, 4605 34th Street Tampa, Florida, 33610, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at church at 12:45.

MR. CHARLES HENRY DAVID MOORE
Mr. Charles Henry David Moore, 736 113th Avenue,Tampa, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
A celebration of life for Mr. Moore will be held on Monday, July 11th at 11 a.m. at the Thono- tosassa Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 9525 Joe Ebert Road, Seffner, 33584, with Pastor Romel Charles, officiating. In- terment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue, Bush- nell, Florida.
A wake service will be held at the Thonotosassa church on Sunday, July 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Born on November 13, 1969 in Tampa, Mr. Moore was the oldest son of Charles Henry Moore, Jr., and Rose Williams Moore Durand. He was pre- ceded in death by a brother, Eric Moore.
Mr. Moore received his for- mal education at Mt. Calvary Jr. Academy up to the eighth grade and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical School in 1987.
After a honorary discharge from the United States Army, Mr. Moore returned to Tampa where he pursued a profession in the electrical field as an ex- cellent electrician working at various jobs, including the Strawberry Festival for several years, the construction of the International Mall, Southeast- ern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist Campgrounds in Hawthorne, Florida, and Lake- land Senior High School. He also did electrical work for many residential jobs with his step-father.
Mr. Moore leaves cherished and loving memories with: mother, Rose Durand; father, Charles Henry Moore, Jr.,; stepfather, Rodney Durand; former wife, Diana Moore; daughter, Ebony Monet Cha- vante Moore; grandchildren, Jaleah Mitchell and Julius Mitchell; step children, William Brown, Clarence Brown, Daniel Brown, and James Brown; sis- ter, Darlene Yvette Moore; niece, Alexandria Moore; nephew, Quentin Moore; aunts, Margaret Williams, Mary Williams; uncle, Henry Williams; cousins, Kevin (Vio- lia) Williams, Katrina Ballard, George Williams, Jonathan Williams, Andre (Rachel) Hughes, Derrick Williams, Jerry Williams, Jr., Myeshia VanBlount, and Shantel (De- Shawn) Puryear-Jenkins; spe- cial friends, Cheryl (Dee Dee) Smith, Teresa Henderson, Stephanie (Poochie) Sesler, Joe Oglesby, Tony Smith, David Gunn, and a host of other fam- ily members and friends.

Ms. Cheri L. Jorden of Ona, Florida passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. at The Pen- tacostal Church of God of Jesus, 4705 N. 26th Street, Tampa, with Reverend Donald Jorden, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Cheri L. Jorden was a native of Tampa, Florida and a resident of Hillsborough County for 20 years and Hardee County for 33 years. She was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County where she attended the Exceptional Student Education program. She was a member of Adamville Church of God in Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Jimmie L. Jorden and Katie L. Jorden; a daughter, Veronica Jorden; three grandchildren, Joshua Jorden, Jasmine Hall and Jaden Hall; sister, Macy Cald- well; 4 brothers, Jimmie L. Jorden, Jr., Willie C. Jorden, Eddie Jorden and Henry Jor- den; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Ma, not a moment goes by that we don’t think about you. Every fond memory of you help keeps us going, but it is still difficult sometimes because we miss you like infinity.
