beautiful jewel women love. The First Baptist Choir and Ushers served. Rev. Dr. Harper was the speaker of the evening. He spoke from Mark 12:28- 31, “God’s Command To Love,” which coincided with the church’s 2018 motto – “What’s Love Got To Do With It? – Every-
thing.”
Pastor Harper told
the congregation that ‘love’ is an action word that speaks louder. “Love is a command that God has given,” he said, “we can’t negotiate it.”
Brenda Holley and Fontella DeCoursey, President and Vice Presi- dent, respectively, shared expressions of love to Jacqueline Harper, First Lady of First Baptist, Mrs. Scott, mother of Mrs. Roundtree and Mrs. Elena Porter, grand- mother of Mrs. Roundtree. Each received a basket of fruit. Ministries and members of the congre- gation shared their expres- sions of love.

   The Pastor’s Aide Min- istry at New Mt. Zion Mis- sionary Baptist Church hosted the 5th Pastoral An- niversary Celebration hon- oring First Lady Sameya Roundtree, in “Shades Of Pink And Pearls.” The event was held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

presided over the family portion of the program, which featured a welcome and occasion from Estrel- lita “Lo” Berry, a selec- tion from Crysandra Scott, mother of First Lady, liturgical dance from the New Mt. Zion Daugh- ters of Zion, and a selection from the Young Adult Praise Team.
Shortly after 7 p. m.,
Rev. Dr. Rayford Harper, Pastor of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, and Moderator, First South Florida Mis- sionary Baptist District As- sociation, conducted the worship service. Deacons of First Baptist conducted the devotional service, followed by the service welcome and occasion by Pastor’s Aide Ministry member, Sherryl Cusseaux. She shared the history of the pearl and all that it entails to get to the
