Homegoing services for Mrs. Charlene Anderson, who passed away April 18, 2018, will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Christ Central Presbyte- rian Church, 6202 N Himes Ave., Tampa, FL 33614, Rev. John K. Keen, Senior Pastor.
Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E. Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33610.
Charlene J. Anderson was born March 18, 1963 in Winter Garden, FL, but was a Tampa, FL native. She was the loving daughter to the late Murrie Lee Robinson and Bobby Robinson, Sr.
She became a Christian at an early age and attended Tem- ple of the Apostle Church, under the leadership of Apostle C.L. Holder. Throughout her life, she performed at various concerts as a member of the Gospel Links. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County and worked at Macy’s for many years.
She leaves to cherish mem- ories: a loving and devoted hus- band, Mitchell Anderson Sr.; children: Patricia (Davon) Oliver, Mitchell Anderson, Jr., Milton Anderson (Tarina), Roselene Anderson (Walter), Angela Anderson (Cedric), Loretta (Luis Salgado), Shir- lene Johnson (Tyrell) and Roshell (Mike) Payne; grand- children, Christopher, Alver- tus, Naya, Davion, Cevaris, Lakesha, Terrell, Trinitee, Ma- rina, Notlim, Malina, Nyeesah, Khalil, Khameelah, Johnathan, A’nyla, Reshawn, Joaquin, Eu- nique, Typhany, Christopher, Jr., Ta’raji, Ty’tiana, Ariana, Faith, Hope and Dakota; great grandchild, Raniyah; siblings: Ceola Johnson, Melissa Collins, Selena Robinson, Theresa Wil- son, Adolph Robinson and Bobby Robinson Jr.; mother and father-in-law, Roselene and Milton Anderson; brother- in-law, Melvin Anderson; sis- ters-in-law, Gloria Jean Peoples-Hardrick and Janet Anderson; nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving rela- tives and friends.

Funeral services for Otha Lee Thorn “Bama”, who passed away April 27, 2018, will be held Satur- day, May 5, 2018 at 12 p.m. at New Greater Friendship Mis- sionary Baptist Church, 3325 E. Emma St., Tampa, Florida 33610, Rev. Ronnie Murray, Pastor, offi- ciating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 4615 E Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Otha Lee Thorn was born April 23, 1950 in Mendenhall, Mississippi, to the late Alford Thornton and the late Hattie Mae Thornton. Otha Lee Thorn was educated in Mendenhall, MS. He later moved to Tampa, FL. He was baptized at an early age and was a former member and Dea- con of New Mt. Silla Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Moses Anglin and Rev. Antonio Hawkins. He later united with the New Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was an active mem- ber in his church.
He met and married the love of his life for 37 years, Mrs. Joyce Ware Thorn and to this union 1 daughter was born, Rebecca D. Thorn.
He was dedicated to his pro- fessional skills as a laborer with lawn maintenance. Bama made many friends along the way with his warm and welcoming smile everywhere he went.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: beloved wife, Joyce Ware Thorn; 1 devoted daughter, Re- becca D. Thorn; 1 granddaughter (his pride & joy), Jaliyah Sanchez; siblings, Ruby N. Jaynes, Mary Carter (Shelly), Ernest Thornton (Florene), Arthur Thornton (Cloretta) and Robert Thornton (Geneva); brothers-in-law, Michael Neal (Belinda), Ivan T. Ware (Mary), Anthony T. Berthinia Woodard was born on January 30, 1942 in Plant City, Florida to the late Annie Lee McDonald and David Mc- Donald. She attended Plant City High School. In 1969, she relo- cated to Tampa, FL. The last job she had was with the Hillsbo- rough County Sheriff Depart- ment, Tampa, FL. Berthinia was a very outspoken woman, but she loved to keep people laughing and smiling. She was- n’t afraid to tell you that you are “ugly” and she also wasn’t afraid to tell you about the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Annie Lee and David McDonald; granddaugh- ter/daughter, Tyronda Griffin; brothers, David McDonald and Ernest McDonald.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries: 5 children, Rosalind Trussell (Clifford), Roland Grif- fin (Priscilla), Cora Griffin (Herman), Viletha Griffin, Roy Griffin (Kimberly); 4 grandchil- dren raised as her children, James Caniadiate (Kechia), John McDonald (Erin), Do- minique Griffin and Erica Grif- fin (Shawnta); 7 siblings, Leutheria Gainer, Patricia Mc- Coffle, Leola McDonald, Sally Scott, Judy Williams, Clarence McDonald and Frank McDonald (Laverne); 21 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, un- cles and friends.
