Teenager Charged With Making Written Threat

Man Who Showed Body To Neighbors Charged With Murder
A 17-year-old girl was ar- rested Wednesday for threat- ening to kill another girl during a live Facebook video. She was charged with a writ- ten threat to kill or do bodily injury using electronic com- munication.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, detec- tives arrested Amari John- son at her home after she threatened 17-year-old Tashiyunia Flowers Tues- day afternoon.
According to police, Flowers’ mother, Ms. Tasha Riley, called deputies after seeing the video.
Police said Flowers com- mented on Johnson’s video and Johnson then threat- ened to kill her by shooting her.
Deputies said Johnson is seen in the video talking to Flowers. She reportedly said, “Let me just let you f***g know, I stay strapped on go 24 mother f***g 7!
Johnson is reportedly seen picking up what ap- peared to be an AR-15 rifle she is shown holding up to the camera.
The video then shows Johnson stating, “A fat a** AR!!” I’ll shoot your dumb a**.”
Both girls attend Bayside High School and Flowers told police that she was being bullied at school by John- son.
Johnson was taken into custody and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Cen- ter.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested a stu- dent after a gun was found in his vehicle. The arrest took place at Kids Community Col- lege Charter School, 10550 Jo- hanna Avenue, in Riverview.
Deputies responded to the school last Friday and learned that the student had the gun in the trunk of his car. The unidentified 10th grade student was taken into custody and charged with possessing a firearm on school property.
Officials learned about the gun after the principal received an email. When the 16-year-old was confronted by the princi- pal, he admitted to having the weapon.
The unloaded Century Arms 9 mm, semi-automatic handgun was found in the trunk during the search.

A 43-year-old man was arrested Tuesday and charged in connection with the death of a woman. Police learned of the death after his neighbors said the man showed them the woman’s body in an unattached shed.
St. Petersburg Police re- sponded to 524 16th Avenue, South after being advised by two citizens that a woman’s body was on the premises. The officers responded to the address and found the woman’s body in a shed.

attempted to flee, but was caught and taken into cus- tody.
They obtained a search warrant for the premises. The victim was identified as Ms. Cheyenne Snyder, 29, of St. Petersburg.
Detectives learned that Ms. Snyder had been shot during an argument with Beckford.
Beckford was charged with second-degree murder, possession of crack cocaine, aggravated assault, and pos- session of drug parapherna- lia.

he crashed his
vehicle into a
restaurant. He
was charged
with driving
under the in-
fluence with property damage.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 1 a.m., deputies responded to the Waffle House, 7670 Starkey Road, in Seminole, in response to a car striking the building.
When deputies arrived, they discovered that a 2003 BMW 325I had crashed into the side of the building, causing signifi- cant damage.
The restaurant was evacu- ated and no injuries were re- ported to police.
During the investigation, police learned that Isaias Gar- cia was driving his vehicle southbound through the park- ing lot when he crashed into the building.
Garcia remained at the scene and spoke with deputies. During the interview, Garcia reportedly exhibited signs of impairment. His eyes were bloodshot, glassy, and watery, and there was a distinct odor of alcohol coming from him when he spoke, police said.
Garcia refused to perform a Field Sobriety Test, but he did provide a breath sample. The sample indicted that he was im- paired. He was arrested and charged, police said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 78- year-old man and charged him with battery. He was taken into custody near Dale Mabry and Tahoe Court last Friday.
Deputies responded to the location after the 15-year-old victim called police. During the investigation, detectives said the victim told police she was at the intersection when Adoor Venugopal ap- proached her and made sex- ual statements. When she attempted to leave, he al- legedly grabbed her and at- tempted to kiss her. She

escaped and called police. Venugopal was charged with battery and released from the Hillsborough County jail after posting a
$2,000 bond.
