‘Solo: Star Wars Story’ Trailer Featuring Donald Glover Aired During Super Bowl
Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino stars in the new stand-alone Star Wars movie, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’. Glover plays a young Lando Calrissian. Billy Dee Williams was the original Lando in the original ‘Star Wars’.
Taraji Henson’s Manager Accused Of Sexual Misconduct
Solo: A Star Wars Story, a stand-alone installment of the Star Wars franchise that follows a young Han Solo and Chewbacca, released its first trailer during the Super Bowl.
Childish Gambino plays a young Lando Calrissian alongside Alden Ehrenre- ich as Han Solo, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, and others.
Solo is set for a May 25 the- ater release.
award-winning series “At- lanta” recently announced the premiere date for Season 2, and Childish Gambino’s “Awaken, My Love” was nom- inated for Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammys along with his track “Redbone” was up for Record of the Year.
DMX Is Back In Jail
Nine women have accused Hollywood manager Vincent Cirrincione of unwanted sex- ual advances over a period of two decades, telling the Wash- ington Post that the man so closely associated with the ca- reers of Halle Berry and Taraji P. Hen- son used his reputation “as an important gatekeeper for Black actresses” to “prey upon young women of color seeking an entry into Hollywood.”
The nine women include eight African Americans and one Asian American. One of the women, Tamika Lamison, said she was a 27-year-old New York stage actress in 1996 when an audition with Cirrincione allegedly ended when he grabbed her, kissed her and said he’d accept her as a client in ex- change for sex. None of the nine women
make accusations of rape or other criminal allegations. Six chose not to have their names published.
As it was announced in 2016, Donald Glover aka
DMX will be detained until his tax evasion hearing.
DMX (real name Earl Simmons) is back in jail.
According to reports, he will be incarcerated for “for failing to comply with condi- tions of his bail”.
Last year, he pled guilty to tax evasion and was out on a $500,000 bond. Unfortu- nately, he violated probation by allegedly failing a drug test. He will remain in custody until the date of his tax eva- sion sentencing.

‘The Chi’ Renewed For Season 2
Lena Waithe and Com- mon’s hit Showtime series, ‘The Chi, has been renewed for a second season.
The show is created and executive produced by Waithe, with Common as Exec Producer of the series.
The series is described as following a fateful turn of events that sends shock- waves through a community on the Southside of Chicago and connects the lives of Emmett, Brandon, Ron- nie and Kevin in unex-
pected ways.
The ensemble cast in-

Master P’s Brother, CMurder On Hunger Strike In Prison
Incarcerated rapper CMur- der is among the inmates em- barking on a hunger strike at Angola Prison on January 30.
According CMurder, born Corey Miller, he is using his platform as a well-known rap- per to voice the dire condi- tions going on at Angola.

CMurder is serving life sen- tence in Angola prison in Louisiana.

The case went all the way to Louisiana's Supreme Court, which upheld the conviction, automatically triggering a life sentence in Angola Prison for CMurder.
