CrimeMan Arrested On Sex Crimes Involving Teenagers
The Hernando County Sher- iff’s Office has arrested a 20- year-old man in connection with sex crimes. His bond was set at $30,000.
On January 29th, police re- ceived a complaint of an un- known man sending nude photographs of himself to a 14- year-old girl. He is also alleged to have told the girl he wanted to perform sexual acts on her and others at her school.
During the investigation, police learned that other girls were being contacted by the man as well via social media. He also told the girl that he lived close to the school and would stand outside at dis- missal time and watch the chil- dren.
The victim told investiga- tors she learned the man’s name was “Jordan,” and that he was sending the photos of him performing sex acts on himself to her via SnapChat. He also requested that she send him nude photos of herself, but she refused.
Police said he also asked the girl to skip school and meet him at a local park to have sex and she refused. The girl told police that she told him she was 14, and he said he was 20 and did- n’t care how old she was.
