MS. ONEDA LUCRETIA RAMIREZ JONES
Ms. Oneda Lucretia Ramirez Jones of Tampa, FL, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. Visitation was held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606.
Ms. Oneda R. Jones was a native of Tampa, FL, and a res- ident for 90 years. She also resided in Gainesville, FL for several years before moving back to Tampa, FL, where she remained until her transition.
She attended Don Thomp- son High School and was a re- tired Dietician at the Hillsborough County School System. She was a member of the North Tampa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness
She is preceded by: sisters, Thelma Mitchell, Angelina Smith, and Catherine Davis; and brother, Joseph Ramirez.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her brothers, Leonard Ramirez and Johnny Davis; son, Wendell and Gloria Ramirez, Sr.; grandsons, Wen- dell Ramirez, Jr., Michael and Courtney Ramirez; great granddaughter, Charleigh Ramirez; great grandson, Gar- rison Ramirez; nephews, Arnold “Jake” Mitchell, Spencer Pittman, and Joseph Ramirez, Jr.; nieces, Valerie Trotman, Danielle “Nikki” Ramirez-Barnes, Vetrice Allen, Kimberly James, and a host of other nephews, nieces and cousins.

MRS. BARBARA JEAN GODFREY-WORLDS
On Friday, November 5, 2021, God peacefully called home this beautiful soul, Mrs. Barbara Jean Godfrey-Worlds, of Tampa, FL. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, No- vember 13, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 Grace Street, Tampa, FL 33607, Reverend T. D. Leonard, Pastor with Rev- erend Gregory Davis, officiating. (MASK RECOMMENDED).
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Barbara Jean Godfrey- Worlds was born in Hinesville, Georgia, on June 6, 1945, the second child and only daughter of Joseph and Inez McIntosh.
She relocated to Tampa at an early age and was educated in the local Hillsborough County Public Schools. She graduated from Howard W. Blake High School “Class of 1963.” After high school, Barbara Jean mar- ried and started a family with Isaac Godfrey.
She later attended Hillsbor- ough Community College while working for the Department of Corrections, Probation and Pa- role. She worked for the State of Florida for many years, retiring as a Clerical Supervisor.
In 2004, she married Ernest Worlds, Jr. They were members of New Birth M. B. Church to- gether. She served faithfully as the Financial Secretary and a member of the WIA for many years. God called her husband home in 2015. She then returned to her childhood place of wor-
ship at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.
Barbara Jean was an amaz- ing daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and friend. Her children were always a priority. She was loyal and had a wel- coming heart. She was a very easy woman to love and she was loved by many.
Barbara Jean was preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph McIntosh, Inez McIntosh Weber Trotman and Armon Weber; husband, Ernest Worlds, Jr.; brothers, Henry Trotman, Joseph “Mikey” Mick- ens, Jr., and Clarence “Mac” McIntosh, Jr., grandson, Tod- dricks Grant and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Inez “Gina” Godfrey, Irene “Yvette” Godfrey (Dwayne), Barbara “Shawn” Baker, and Arthena “Nikki” Rutledge (John); stepchildren, Tayla Ball (Jef- frey) of Aliceville AL, Fred “Bo” Hutto, III, and Tyshiro Worlds- Redmon of Tampa; god daugh- ter, Loretta Anderson Mullins of Savannah, GA; grandchil- dren, Zenaida, Selena and Carl “CJ” Golden, Rayleen Green, Dereke “DJ” Bishop, Jr., (Daphne), Adrienne Bishop (Jacques), Ayesha and Siedah Godfrey, Rashard Ricks, John, III, “Buddy,” Joshua and Jaime Rutledge, Shakari Webb (Andre), Jarien and Gianna Redmon; 20 plus great grand- children; brother, John Trot- man, Jr., god sister, Jannie Bell Mahone of Eustis, FL; nephews, Joseph “Lil Mickey” Mickens, III, (Tammy), and Jemell Trot- man; niece, Michelle Hall- Shabazz (Robert); special friends, Barbara Jackson, Bobby Degrate, Sabrina St. Fort, Marry Brown Harris, Geraldine DarDar, Idalmis Car- bonell and a host of very special relatives and friends.

Mrs. Venus V. Dean was a native of Nassau, Bahamas, and a resident of Tampa for 54 years. She attended Arthur’s Town Primary School and was a member of The Usher Board of Greater Bethel Missionary Bap- tist Church. She was a domestic homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Eleanor.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her spouse, Leonard E.
