MS. GLORIA JEAN KING
Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Gloria Jean King, who passed on May 2, 2019, will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2 p. m. at Heaven Destiny AOG Church, 4104 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, Florida, with Pastor Tom Jones, officiating and Evangelist Sharon Scott, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
Ms. Gloria Jean King was born in Tifton, Georgia on Sep- tember 15, 1948 to the parent- age of Amos Smith and Ruby D. King Williams. Ms. King resided in the Tampa area most of her life and she was an Edu- cator with the Hillsborough County Public School System. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. King was preceded in death by: her father, Amos Smith; stepfather, Lewis Tuff; children, Jeremiah and Jer- maine King; grandmother, Della Thomas; sister, Brenda J. Williams; brother, Larry Williams; aunts, Deloris Smith, Mary Smith and Alice Evans; nephews, Eldred (4up4down) Martin, Byron (Lil’B) Patty; grandfather, Joseph Thomas;
 cousins, Robert Smith, Sr., and Gary McNeal.
She leaves to cherish pre- cious memories with: a “Doting” mother, Ruby Williams; a “Duti- ful” sister, Michelle Williams; sisters, Barbara (Auntie Barb), Sharon (ChaCha), Sandra (Mor- rison) and Shelia; brothers, Leroy, Robert, Steve (Retitia), Ricky (Merlene) and Bruce (Ka- trina); aunts, Marjorie B. There will be a viewing on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida from 5 – 8 p. m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m. in the chapel.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Saturday at approximately 1:45 p. m.
