When Trey Daniels was born at 2 lbs, 8 oz., the news the family was given was not well received: he could not use his own lungs to breathe. “But my father- in-law, (the Rev. Dr. H. L. Daniels, Pastor of New Friendship M. B. Church) prayed that night and here he is today, using those lungs,” his mother says, “with pas- sion, energy and honesty,” Trey adds, “those divine blessings have abounded..ca- reer breakthroughs.”

As a matter of fact, Mr. Daniels, Jr., was motivated by his son’s dedication and has returned to the craft he once had. For the past 10 years, he too, has been play- ing the saxophone.
