The Rock Interested In Politics In 2024
‘Black-ish’ Creator Has New Comedy Coming To ABC
Since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson expressed interest in running for presi- dent in 2020, Americans have been ecstatic about the possi- bility of having the WWE champ-turned-actor in office.
But in a recent interview with Variety, he shared that while he’s interested in a polit- ical career, 2020 wouldn’t be

the right time to do so. In- stead, 2024 seems more befit- ting of his White House aspirations due to movies he has already committed to.
Politically speaking, the publication reports Johnson is registered as independent, and has attended both the democratic and republican convention.
Kenya Barris is ready to bring more laughs to the small screen.
The black-ish creator just sold a new project to ABC and it was given a straight-to-series order from the network.
Alec Baldwin has signed on to co-executive produce the un- titled, multi-camera comedy se- ries and Barris will serve as show runner alongside Grown- ish EP, Julie Bean.
According to reports, the proj- ect will showcase an outspoken, washed-up TV star who moves

in with his lesbian daughter, her girlfriend, and their child.
Two months ago, an uniden- tified woman came forward to claim that Nelly allegedly raped her. The incident report- edly occurred on the St. Louis native’s tour bus following a Washington State show. Bill- board reports that Nelly was arrested and booked at a jail in Des Moines where he faced a second-degree rape charge.
Now, prosecutors dismissed the case on Thursday (Dec. 14), after the 21-year-old woman said, “she did not wish to assist
in prosecution or the investiga- tion,” but Nelly’s legal journey is far from over. The 43-year- old artist plans to seek out legal action in an attempt to clear his name.
“He has incurred economic loss and painfully has watched his family suffer,” Nelly’s at- torney Scott Rosenblum said in a statement. “As a re- sult, Nelly is planning to pro- ceed with litigation as the first step in restoring his reputa- tion.”
Gucci Mane Shares New Album Tracklist
Tiffany Haddish is having her ‘moment’ and is primed to have an even bigger 2018.
The comedian’s recently re- leased memoir The Last Black Unicorn has received praise for its honesty and incredible de- tails of Haddish’s life.
The comedian took to social media to inform people that some of the details included in the book may have been exag- gerated.
Her ex-husband, who she wrote was a vicious, abusive partner is lashing out at the
portrayal of him saying on In- stagram that:
“I ont [sic] want to respond to my character and my family matters in the book. At this time I will not through [sic] dirt at Tiffany or release things that I know will harm her. I actually don’t think this was all Tiffany’s doings [sic]... I think people were telling her they need to add stuff to fluff it up. I have NEVER HIT or beat a woman in my life. I’m hurting and thanks.”

Nelly was accused by an unidentified 21-year-old of rape on his tour bus in Seattle. The woman later claimed she was dropping the charge be- cause she did not like the pub- licity. Nelly denied the allegations from the start.
Gucci Mane’s unortho- doxly named El Gato The Human Glacier album now has a tracklist. Guwop un- veiled it in an unusual man- ner, writing each song in its own individual tweet.
Mr. Zone 6 also put to- gether some unorthodox numbering, labeling the intro as its own song while having a separate #1 cut.
21 Savage is the only guest on the tracklist. Production is handled entirely by 808 Mafia’s Sizzle.
The album continues Guwop’s unparalleled work ethic and is the follow-up to Mr. Davis, which dropped in October.

Birdman Could Lose Miami Mansion Over Loan Default
Decades, If Convicted
It looks like Bryan Williams, better known as “Birdman,” is having some cash flow issues.
Apparently, the Cash Money head man put his Miami man- sion down as collateral for a $12 million loan and because he defaulted on the loan, it looks like Birdman’s about to lose his house.
According to court docu- ments, Williams borrowed the money in 2015 from a com- pany called EMG Transfer Agent. The rapper put up his Miami mansion — the one he bought in 2012 for $14.5 mil-

lion — as collateral. The 9-bed- room, 17-bath mansion — which was once owned by pro-
ducer Scott Storch — has 225-foot ceilings and features a below ground pool, outdoor pool with cabana, a movie the- ater, gym, spa, an in-house massage room, 100 feet of wa- terfront and a private dock.
In other news, reports sur- faced recently claiming Toni Braxton and Birdman had secretly gotten married. But a rep for the singer says the ru- mors are not true.
“Toni is dating,” Braxton’s spokesperson told Us Weekly before quickly pivoting to promote her client’s next re- lease.
XXXtentacion was sent to jail Friday morning (Dec 15) with seven new felony charges stacked up against him.
Since 2016, the Broward rapper has been under inves- tigation for a brutal domestic violence case involving his pregnant, ex-girlfriend.
Recently, X filed docu- ments from the alleged victim which confirmed that she no longer wanted him to be pros- ecuted. However, the prosecu- tors involved with the case apparently didn’t buy the signed statement.
The Miami-Dade County judge claimed the rookie rap- per violated the terms of his bond from his original arrest in 2016.
He was instantly sent to jail and is currently being held without bail.

seven new charges on XXXtentacion, including various degrees of witness tampering and witness ha- rassment. They believe X had coerced his ex-girlfriend into signing the statement in an ef- fort to drop the case.
XXXTentacion will most likely be in jail until his trial. If convicted, he faces “decades in prison” at minimum.
