Nas has followed Jay Z’s
cannabis brand launch by em- barking on his weed-related endeavor: a documentary. The legendary MC will executive produce and narrate BET’s SMOKE: Marijuana + Black America, which is scheduled to premiere on November 18.
“The world has finally begun opening up to the cannabis industry the way I feel it should have years ago,” Nas told Variety. “Even still, hate exists in this business for Black people, and that is something that sickens me and should be recognized for its blatant evil.”

Rapsody was on Cloud 9 after she was unexpectedly dubbed Lyricist of the Year at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday night (Oc- tober 27).
Comedians DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller and Chico Bean of 85 South Show surprised the Snow Hill, North Carolina-bred MC with the honor, explaining, “I know you thought you were here to introduce your cypher, but in actuality, T.I. has given a fine set up for the Lyricist of the Year and I do believe, you are one of them.”
From there, Tip took over and announced she was in fact, the winner. Rap popped up and screamed, “I won a BET Award!? I thought I came here to do a cypher! YOOOOO!!!”

Jay Z is venturing into the world of cannabis. The mogul officially announced the launch of his new cannabis brand, Monogram, on Friday (Oct. 23) marking his first product collaboration since becoming chief brand strategists of the Northern California-based dispensary, Caliva, last year.

Michael B. Jordan is ready to get festive and spread holiday cheer with Coach! As a global ambassador, the actor stars in the brand’s new “Holiday is Where You Find It” campaign.

Deal With Audible
Amid speculation that he won’t renew his contract with his hit radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” co-host Charlamagne tha God has signed “a multi-year, multi- project” deal with audio giant Audible.
Back in March, Page Six reported that the radio super- star had various “potential deals” on the table, should he decide not to re-sign with the show.
On Tuesday, Audible an- nounced that Charlamagne and Kevin Hart are working together on a series of shows for the company. “The slate of episodic long-form Audible Originals will feature fiction and nonfiction scripted series
