Jupiter Ascending - A genetically engineered war- rior (Channing Tatum) is sent to Earth to protect a young woman (Mila Kunis) who does not know she is a Queen on Jupiter. A power- ful family who lives on Jupiter is on a mission to kill her. This futuristic action film moves quick and the ef- fects are worth-seeing. Andy Wachowski (The Matrix) is the director. Made $18M. (Budget $176M). ***1⁄2
Project Almanac - A group of teens (Jonny We- ston, Sam Lerner) discover plans to make a time ma- chine and use it to go back in
the past. They soon realize that going back to the past will cost lives. Made $15M. (Budget $12M). ***1⁄2
The Boy Next Door - A divorced woman (Jennifer Lopez) falls for a younger man (Ryan Guzman) who lives next door to her. Their relationship soon turns deadly when the man refuses to let go. If you like Jennifer Lopez, as we do, then you will enjoy this thriller. Made $30M. (Budget $4M). ***1⁄2
American Sniper - Di- rected by Clint Eastwood, this film tells the true story about Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle’s life (Bradley Cooper) as a sniper in Iraq. Kyle’s pinpoint accuracy saved countless troops on the battlefield and he did four tours in Iraq which affected his family back home. Nomi- nated for Oscar’s best movie, director, and actor, this movie comes under heavy scrutiny because the WAR in Iraq was unjust. Still No. 1 at box office. Made $281M. (Budget $58M). ****

BOLD AND THE BEAUTI- FUL - Brooke wonders where she will go next in her life after missed opportunities, and also reflects on former flames. Steffy visits Rick only to find that For- rester Creations has completely transformed. Wyatt is taken aback by how Valentine’s Day is playing out, and who he is spending the day with. Steffy tells Ivy what her true intentions are for helping Liam with his grand scheme.
