Seahawks Knock Out Carson Wentz And The Eagles
RUSSELL WILSON
After Jadeveon Clowney knocked out Carson Wentz, Russell Wilson and the Seat- tle Seahawks knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wilson threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to D.K. Met- calf, Marshawn Lynch had a rushing score and the Sea- hawks beat the Eagles 17-9 in the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs on Sunday night.
Making his first career playoff start, Wentz lasted two series before exiting with a head injury following a helmet- to-helmet hit from Clowney.
Lamar Jackson Earns 47 Of 50 First- Team All-Pro Votes
LAMAR JACKSON
It came to the surprise of al- most no one that Lamar Jackson was named to the NFL's first-team All-Pro squad on Friday.
The second-year Ravens signal-caller broke Michael Vick's single-season rushing yards record for a quarterback, led the NFL in touchdown passes with 36. Baltimore is currently enjoying a 12-game winning streak and has the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC.
When the ballots were re- leased for the 2019 All-Pro team, Jackson took home 47 of 50 votes. Only Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas and Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore were unanimous selections.
However, one of the three voters that did not vote for Jackson stands out. That would be former Bills GM and SiriusXM's Bill Polian.

Somebody Had To Be
Great, Why Not Me?
Deshaun Watson’s
playoff debut saw the Colts shut down the Texans offense in a 21-7 win last year and the quarterback’s second post- season outing didn’t look like it would turn out much bet- ter.
Houston didn’t score while picking up 92 yards on their first five possessions and trailed 16-0 when they got the ball with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter. They’d get on the board on that drive when Watson bullied Bills defenders for a 20-yard rushing touchdown and then ran for a two-point conversion that was part of a 19-point run that put Hous- ton in the lead.
The Bills would tie the game, but the Texans got the win in overtime after Wat- son avoided two pass rush- ers to deliver a pass to Taiwan Jones that went for a 34-yard gain. That set up the game-winning field goal and capped an afternoon that saw Watson put his team on

his back and carry them to a memorable victory.
“I just told myself to stay up,” Watson said to ESPN after the game. “It’s do or die right now, and all that work I put in in the offseason, I just had to make a play. Some- body had to be great — why not me?”
Watson’s greatness al- lowed the Texans to over- come a dreadful start to Saturday’s game. They’ll need more of the same in Kansas City next weekend, preferably without spotting the opposition another 16- point lead to open the pro- ceedings.
Kaepernick Calls US Airstrike
Another Terrorist Attack
Against Non White World
Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick tweeted his thoughts Saturday on the U.S. airstrike in Baghdad, call- ing it another American ter- rorist attack against black and brown people.
President Trump gave the order for the targeted killing of Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, Thursday.
In a tweet sent Saturday af- ternoon, Kaepernick said, “There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown peo- ple for the expansion of Amer- ican imperialism.”
The Defense Department said it killed Soleimani be- cause he “was actively devel-

oping plans to attack Ameri- can diplomats and service members in Iraq and through- out the region.”
In a follow up tweet, Kaepernick said, “America militarism is the weapon wielded by American imperial- ism, to enforce its policing and plundering of the non white world.”
