Kanye West Reportedly Almost Named 'Yeezus' Album 'Thank God For Drugs'
Former DONDA art direc- tor Joe Perez has revealed the original name for Kanye West’s 2013 album Yeezus was initially Thank God For Drugs. The revelation came as Perez was posting old concept designs from his tenure at the Kanye-led de- sign firm to Instagram.
“3.2.2013 – Pre-Yeezus gif concepts – Round 2,” he cap- tioned the post. “Before nam- ing the album Yeezus, the title was ‘Thank God For Drugs.'”
Perez also included GIFs of the design work. The front cover design was similar to the final Yeezus cover, with the exception of the title writ-

ten across the top in child-like handwriting. He displayed the back case with an image of a pipe-cleaner figure laying under a pile of prescription pills as well.

DaBaby Detained By Police In Miami
Grammy-nominated star DaBaby was detained on Thursday (Jan. 2) by the Miami Police Department for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred ear- lier in the day.
After the North Carolina MC hosted a New Year’s event with Diddy and DJ Khaled in Miami Beach on Wednesday (Jan. 1), footage began circulating on social media Thursday afternoon displaying the 28-year-old born Jonathan Kirk being placed in handcuffs by police. The Miami Herald reports he wasn’t charged with anything related to the robbery.

music promoter, regarding a $30,000 appearance fee for an event slated for later on that day. After Baby noticed that the promoter was $10,000 short, he allegedly punched one of them and at- tacked the other man along with his team.
According to the report, members of Baby’s team al- legedly ransacked the vic- tim’s pockets, taking an IPhone 7, a Bank of America credit card and approxi- mately $80 in cash, while the other man fled the scene for his safety. Along with the al- leged fight, the victim claims that he was doused with apple juice by one of Baby’s entourage members.

Rihanna Announces Savage X Fenty Valentine's Day Lingerie Collection
Fans continue to wait for Rihanna’s ninth album, but they’ll have to settle for a new Savage X Fenty collection in- stead. On Wednesday (Janu- ary 1), RiRi introduced her lingerie brand’s first collabo- ration with fashion designer Adam Selman, which will include a Valentine’s Day cap- sule and additional drops through April.

a press statement. “Adam is everything the brand stands for – fun, playful, sexy.”
Selman told InStyle the collection was inspired by ’80s lingerie.
“I wanted to do something that was still in the spirit of Savage X Fenty, but give them an offering they didn’t have already,” he said. “I went al- most as girly and lovey, lovey, lovey as possible, and then I made it super sexy to counter- act that.”
