Fight Ends With One
Search Is On For Armed Carjackers

Hillsborough County Sher- iff’s deputies were looking for four men allegedly involved in a carjacking last week. Close to midnight on July 28th, deputies said all four suspects used firearms when they de- manded the victims get out of their car, take off their clothes, and lay on the ground.
The incident occurred near Porpoise Drive and Tuna Drive in an area known as Nuccio (Fish Bowl).
The suspects reportedly drove off in a 2001 Honda Civic. Deputies found the car nearby minutes later.
One of the suspects, Lemarcus Antone Ashley, 20, was being sought on charges of carjacking with a firearm and two counts of rob- bery with a firearm. He is now in custody.
The remaining three sus- pects are said to be between 5’6” and 6 feet tall, and weigh- ing between 130 and 160 pounds.

Man Shot To Death
Tampa Police reported that at 7 p.m. Saturday, offi- cers responded to the Kain Apartments, 2301 East Sligh Avenue in reference to a man being shot.
When officers arrived, they found 33-year-old Jerry D. Robinson shot in the parking lot. He was transported to a local hospi- tal where he was pronounced dead.
Initial information gained by the detectives indicates the shooting was the result of a physical altercation be- tween Robinson and an- other man. During the altercation, police said Robinson was shot when the man he was fighting with pulled out a firearm.

No arrests have been made at this time, and police have not identified the shooter.
The investigation is con- tinuing.
Tampa Police have ar- rested a pair of teenagers and are looking for a third after bicycles were reported stolen on August 1st.
Police said the bicycles were taken from the bed of a pickup truck in the parking garage of the Skyhouse Channelside Apartments, 112 12th Street, North.
Police said two teenagers, ages 13 and 17, were arrested and are now facing charges of dealing in stolen property, burglary, and grand theft.
Police said Nathan R. Dewalt reported that two road bikes valued a $2,000 each were taken from the bed of his pickup truck. The
bikes were intended for mil- itary veterans through the non-profit, “Ride To Recov- ery.”
Surveillance video from the parking garage showed a young man removing the bikes from the truck, and being joined by two others as they ride the bikes and leave the parking garage.
Detectives were able to quickly identify one of the suspects. The case received a boost from local news cover- age as someone who knew one of the teens in the video contacted police and helped identify a second teenager.
Both bikes have been re- turned to the owner.
Man Facing Charges After Road Rage Shooting
Tampa Police have charged a man with aggra- vated battery after a road rage incident Thursday evening.
Police said Carlos Ro- driguez, 33, and Ezekiel Henson, 29, were engaged in a verbal dispute at 109th Avenue and North Nebraska Avenue at 6:38 p. m. after a traffic incident.
Witnesses at the scene told police Henson shot Rodriguez in the back as Rodriguez was returning to his motorcycle after the ver- bal confrontation.

St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Police said Dwayne Nash, Jr., 26, was walking in the 5200 block of Aragon Way when he was shot. Fam- ily members took him to an area hospital, where his in- juries have been reported as being non-life threatening.
Officers have not been able to get any details of what happened from Nash.
The investigation is ongo- ing.
