More Money, More Problems: Squatter Won’t Leave Timbaland’s Mansion
Jordan Peele And Ava DuVernay Use Producers Guild Awards’ Honor To Give Social Messages
Timbaland is having some more problems with the Miami mansion he has been attempt- ing to sell since his diverse in 2013.
The sales price for the 7-bed- room mansion is $3,390,000. Timbaland entered a con- tract with William Zamora, who was living in the mansion as escrow until the deal was closed.
According to TheBlast.com, Zamora failed to close the deal, which allowed Timba- land to exercise a clause in the contract to charge him $30,000 a month if he stayed in the home.
Timbaland thought his former home was about to be sold to the guy who will now not leave.
Jordan Peele’s ‘Get Out’ may have been snubbed by the Emmy’s and Oscars, but it is getting major recognition from Peele’s peers.
The 2018 Producers Guild Stanley Kramer Award went to Jordan Peele’s Get Out, calling the film “terrifying and groundbreaking.”
The award honors a pro- duction, producer or other individuals “whose achieve- ment or contribution illumi- nates and raises public awareness of important so- cial issues.”
Peele said when he went out to do this movie, he had to ask himself what really scares him. He joked, “it’s not white people.” “It’s silence,” he said. “Get Out is my protest against that.”

Lee Daniels will add another show he produces to the FOX portfolio when ‘Our People’ joins ‘Empire' and ‘Star’. After Jerod Carmichael came to a crossroad with NBC, he took his talents to FOX and will produce Rel, that stars one of his cast mates from The Carmichael Show, Lil Rel How- ery.
Tracee Ellis-Ross took to Twitter on Saturday to comment on her Black- ish salary negotiation, which made headlines after a re- cent story reported that she was making considerably less than her co-star, An- thony Anderson.
The article, published by The Hollywood Reporter, claimed that if Ellis Ross wasn't brought up to An- derson's level, she would likely choose to appear on fewer episodes of Black- ish and guest star on another show in order to make up the pay disparity.
Although Ellis-Ross con- firms the negotiations, she spoke out about the report that she was going to boycott the show to get more money. Ellis-Ross wrote on Twit-
